Outside P.o.V
Ganz was running. Running where? Away. Running somewhere that wasn't where he was before he started running. Anywhere, anywhere but there. He wanted to get away. He wanted to get away so much, it felt like he needed to. He was alone. That's how he wanted it to be for the time being. It was mostly silent, nothing but the rhythmic taps of the ground below his feet and his patterned breath to fill the silence. He only looked back once or twice throughout his trek. He didn't want to risk being slowed or falling over something. He only looked back to make sure he wasn't being followed.
After more running, he finally made it to where he was running to, a secret place only he knows about. He leaned his back against the wall for a bit, catching his breath, before sliding down into a sitting position. His breaths were heavy. He wasn't running for too long, but to him, it felt like a long time. He went there because it is quiet and secluded. Nobody knows he is there and nobody even knows where "there" is. He can think, there are no outside forces to distract him. He can think in peace, for a while at least. He was reflecting back on his actions, thinking about how he could have done things differently. He just needed some time alone to think.
He was feeling guilty. That guilt turning into fear, fear that someone would find him. He is starting to get tense, it would probably be easy to tell he was I'd anyone could see him right now. *tap tap* His thoughts were interrupted when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He quickly turned his head to look in that direction to see what is was, but there was nothing. Here looked back forward and continued with his thoughts until, *tap tap* he felt it again on his other shoulder. He looked over that shoulder only to find nothing... again. He leaned forward to get a better view of everything, but there was still nothing. He was starting to wonder if someone was playing a prank on him, but that couldn't be possible, nobody else knows this place exists. He stood up and walked around some to look around, even more, to see if anyone was hiding, but there was still nothing.
After searching for a bit, as he was going to sit back down he felt a hand on each of his shoulders. He turned around and finally saw his pursuer, but instead of getting the accomplishments feeling he was expecting, here felt a little disappointed. "Oh, it's you." Ganz was not very ecstatic to see him.
"Yep, it's me. I was wondering how long it would take you to figure that out," Melancholy said jokingly.
"What do you want?" Ganz's tone was clearly not a pleased one.
"Oh, nothing really. I just couldn't help but notice the predicament you've gotten yourself into. Your also really tense," Melancholy slid his hands down Ganz's arms to lift them up, proving his point. "See? Stiff as a board."
Ganz rolled his eyelights, snatched his arms from Mel's grasp, and started walking away.
"Someone seems a little mad," Mel said before appearing in front of Ganz and pinning him down on the ground.
"Oof," Ganz hit the ground with a thud. "Dude, what the heck!" He protested, trying to get out from under Mel.
"It seems like someone needs to learn to relax a bit more," Mel said, keeping Ganz on the ground.
"Get off and let me go, I really don't have the patience to deal with you right now," Ganz said, clearly meaning what he said.
"Hmm... Nah, I don't think I will. In fact, I think I'll do this," Mel laid down on top of Ganz.
Ganz sighed and rolled out from under Mel. "I don't have time for this," as he started walking off.
