"Wow. This is big," said Kara, swallowing burnt toast. "We need to save Oliver before it's too late."
"Agreed."Bruce said contemplatively. "I knew Ra's was up to something. After his plan to manipulate me by kidnapping Dick fell through, I heard he was seen in Starling City." Bruce shook her head. "Initiation into the League of Shadows is a rigorous deal. I was allowed to skip some parts of it because of my age, and Oliver's being trained to be the new leader, not just a soldier. When we get there, don't be shocked if Oliver seems different."
Kara drained her coffee and frowned. "This is horrible."
"Yeah...but I think we can save him."
"No."Kara said. "I meant this coffee. I'm sorry but....don't you ever cook anything?"
Bruce glowered. "No. Now are we going or what?"
Kara got up from the table and tore off her hoodie, revealing her signature S. She became a blurry tornado and suddenly was transformed into her super-self.
"Okay,I'm ready. Let's go," said Kara.
"You're not wearing that are you?" said Bruce, putting on her mask.
"Yeah,I always wear this. What's wrong with it?" Kara said, looking down at herself.
"Kara,this is a stealth mission. You look like a handful of jelly-beans. I don't want to take on Ra's's army of ninja's because someone spotted you."
Kara shrugged. "This is all I have. You got something better?"
"As a matter of fact, I do," Bruce said with a grin. "We'll make a pit stop at the mansion on the way there. Get you a decent outfit. You look like a high-school cheer-leader."
"Stop hatin' on my super-suit. My friend helped me craft it to resemble Superman's," she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, yeah Jiggly puff, I know. Now let's go."
Kara turned around and pointed her thumb at her back. "Hop aboard the Kara-Express!" she said cheerily.
"Don't ever say that again."
"C'mon! It's the fastest way to travel!"
"Ugg. This sucks to infinity. And beyond," Bruce said, grumbling as she got on Kara's back, piggy-back style. Kara took off out the broken window and headed for Gotham.
