There I was sitting on the cold hard bench in a small cell waiting for my mom to come or more like hoping. After thirty minutes of waiting I start to think about where I went wrong. Oh yeah, that's right when my dad left me to fend for myself. As my mind wandered again I began to think about the guy but before I could go furthur into thought about him I saw standing there with a solemn expression.

"Hey Alice..." the guy I punched earlier just stared at me almost like I wasn't even there.

"I dont know your name" was all I said which was true I didn't know his name and if he was going to get me out of here I should atleast thank him properly. "It's Josh

..." was all he said he was about to say something else but the police officer came and let me out. He whispered something to Josh which sounded like "try to keep this one out of trouble will ya" I snicker and both of them send me a glare. Once we got out of the hell hole we just stood there awkwardly.

"Sorry I punched you Josh" at that moment I got a good look at him, he had bright blue eyes and a chiseled face older than me by a year, two at most. He noticed me staring and looked away.

"Your welcome, anyways your my responsibility now, I have to take care of you beacause I can see your mom clearly can't"

When he said that I got mad for some reason and I realize that he was pitying me.

"I don't need your pity!!" I practically shouted at him but it was true I don't need nobody's pity especially from someone I barely know.

"Look I was just trying to help you but apprantly you don't need it. Good luck getting a ride home when it's 7:00!" His face was as red as a tomato and all I could do was laugh, he was clearly confused and got more fustrated.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I honestly don't know, maybe because you get mad easily" I wiped the tears from my eyes and just looked at him.

"So do you.." he grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me towards his car and I resisted.

"I don't want to go with you!" I said with disgust, but at the same time my stomach fluttered at the thought of being alone with him. I tried pushing those thouhts into the back of my mind.

"Fine I'll force you then..." he lifted me up and carried me to his car I thrashed and fought back but it was no use. He shoved me into the car and put my seat-belt on, closed the door then drove.

"Im going to scream Help if you don't get me out of this car in five seconds"

"You wouldn't dare!"

He looked at me with uncertainty, but of course I did and I mean I shouted so hard my throat hurt from using so much force.

"HELP RAPIST HELP"

"You better shut up right now or..."

"Or...?"

"Or I'll stop the car and leave you near a dark alley way!"

I shut my mouth quickly and instead tried to pay attention to what going on outside when I suddenly realized that he doesn't know where I live. "Josh, where are we going, because you obviously don't know where I live..."

"You'll see-"

But before he could even finish the sentence a car slammed into ours sending the car sprawling and swiveling onto the sidewalk. I was disoriented but when I saw an unconscious and bloody Josh I tried to call 9-1-1 immediately. My fingers were getting more numb by the second and before I could even press the call button I slipped into the darkness. Strangely enough it was warm and inviting...
