Chapter 4

2 weeks later...
I was upstairs in my room with my door cracked open. I was on my computer making music remixes and writing a song. I love singing and songwriting, its kind of a secret hobby of mine. I would never sing in front of people because I'm terrible. The song I was currently writing was "The Gift of a Friend" (Demi Lovato song, but for the purpose of this story we're gonna say Addy wrote it) Its a song I wrote about my family and the Padalecki family.
"Ace!" I heard Blake exclaim from behind me. I should have closed my door all the way. I forgot that tonight was Friday night. Every Friday night our families get together for finger food and a movie. Also sometimes Blake and my dad sing. Blake often sings songs that he recently wrote just too make sure they are good before he shows them too his band. Anyway, I jumped when I heard him behind me. He might of heard me singing and that would be super embarrassing. Who am I kidding? He definitely heard me singing. I slowly turned around and said,
"Hey B... how long have you been here for?"

Blakes POV

As soon as we pulled up to the Ackles' house, I ran up to Addy's room too tell her we were here. When I got too the door I heard someone singing, so I walked into her room to see it was her. All I could think was could she be any more perfect. She has such a beautiful singing voice. Plus the song was amazing. I knew she had too sing it tonight before the movie.
"Ace!" I said, calling her the nickname I gave her a few years ago. I feel that nickname suits her because she literally aces everything she does.
"Hey B. How long have you been here for?" She asked biting her lip like she does when shes nervous.
"Long enough, who wrote that song?" I asked.
"Oh ummm I.... ummm" She started too stutter but I cut her off.
"Ace? What's up? Why didn't you tell me you could write and sing?" I asked
"Ummm because I can't." She said looking down at her feet.
"Ace, that was amazing. You have to sing it tonig-" I began but got interrupted.
"NO!" She yelled. "B. You cannot tell anyone about this. Got it?"
"What? Why?" I asked
"Because I am terrible." She said and I was about too say something when her dad came upstairs too get us.
"Blake you ready too sing tonight?" Uncle Jensen asked.
"Umm yes sir." I said taking this as my opportunity to get Addy to sing. "So is Ace."
"Addy your going too sing tonight to?" Jensen asked smiling whole heartedly.
Addy was speechless and I could tell she was ready to cry cause she was so nervous. I pulled her too my side and said, "Yes sir!"
Jensen laughed and told us to come downstairs and Addy can start us off.
When we got down stairs everyone was ready for the singing to begin. Shep and Kayla had their cameras out ready too record. Everything was set up for Addy too sing. We plugged in the flash drive with her music on it into the speaker. She was holding the mic about too sing. She looked at all of us and her eyes landed on me.

Addisons POV
I was getting ready too sing in front of our families. I looked around and my eyes landed on B. I was so nervous. I could hardly breathe. I started too cry and ran outside. I heard Jared say he will go talk to me. I didn't know what was happening. As soon as Uncle Jared came out he started talking but it all sounded so distant and muffled.
"Addy? Are you okay?" He asked
"Monkey?" His hand were now on my shoulders.
"Honey whats wrong?" He asked. Finally I choked out a sentence.
"I... I don't know... This keeps happening, why does it keep happening?" I said
Finally something clicked in Uncle Jared's mind. He engulfed me in a hug.
"Shhhh its okay Kiddo. Its okay. Its just a panic attack." He comforted me.
Right after he said that I became uncomfortable. He can't see me like this. No one can. It makes me weak. I cannot show them when I am weak.
"I'm sorry." I said pulling out of the hug.
"Adds, you have no reason too be sorry." He whispered while brushing the tears off my cheeks with his thumb.
I knew this was bad. He saw me at my most vulnerable. That's not okay. Now they are going too think I'm annoying. I couldn't tell him these things I was thinking. So I just smiled and nodded.
