Just then the fireworks started making the place a lot brighter. We both looked up enjoying the view above us. Skyrockets went off leaving me completely awed at the scene we get to experience. I don't get to do this every time, so I had to enjoy it while I can. Yellow, Pink, Gold and a lot of other colors where clouding the air. I sighed then leaned my head on Ranbir's shoulder. "I think I could do this all day." I said looking at Ranbir.

"Can you? I can't feel my feet. It's so cold. We'll freeze." He chuckled. I laughed. "I think we'll sur..."

"Deepika! Ranbir! Watch out!!" Someone yelled as we both spun around and bright light flew right towards us.

Before the light reached us Ranbir wrapped his arms around me and dipped us both into the water. I held my breath not opening my eyes, because I was too afraid to see the darkness underwater. But I was more afraid for whatever could have happened to us a minute ago if it wasn't for Ranbir.

Our heads came above water a few seconds later. "Oh my God, are you okay?" Ranbir said cupping my face then hugging me. I hugged him back as we both tried to catch our breath. I really didn't know how to feel right now.

He turned his head to the beach. With a hard stare he looked out if it would possibly happen again, he then turned his gaze back at me.

Oh no. I know that look. He's angry.

People were standing there curious to see if we were okay.

"Ranbir, Deepika, are you guys okay?!" Sid yelled from the beach. Ranbir and I swam back quietly, both of us in quite a shock.

Sid was standing with towels ready to hand them to us as soon as we reach the beach.

"ARE YOU GUYS OKAY?" Sid asked.

"No we are not! We almost got killed!" Ranbir yelled at Sid then took one towel of his hand to wrap it around me. I started to tremble a little more but was soon wrapped up in Ranbir's arms. Sid was quiet probably thinking about the fact that we really would've gotten killed.

"What happened?" Ranbir asked Sid now sounding less harsh.

"We were looking at the sky when one of the skyrockets fell and went to another direction. Unfortunately it came towards you guys. I'm really sorry. I should've been careful and look out for possible accidents." Sid face showed guilt and I honestly think it was not his fault. It was clearly an accident.

"What if something had happened to us?" He fired back at Sid, his voice holding anger.

"I am really sorry you guys." Sid apologized again. Ranbir ran his fingers through his hair then let out a heavy sigh, obviously trying to tone down his anger towards Sid.

"Ranbir..." I said softly taking hold of his arm and he slowly calmed down but still had that thoughtful yet angry look on his face. He hummed, looked at me, then pulled me into his arms laying his head in the crook of my neck.
