Leo's POV:
The next morning, I woke up to find myself in the Hades cabin. I lifted my free hand to my face and rubbed at my eyes, what time was it? There was a small pain at my side and I looked down at myself and realized I fell asleep with my toolbelt on and now have it digging into my side. I glanced at the other side of me and saw the beautiful son of Hades still asleep, a small smile on his lips. I should let him sleep. I take my arm from around Nico and sit up, I turn and look down at him, and smile. I lean over and give him a light kiss on the cheek, before i stand from the bed and make my way over to the door, to head to the dining pavilion. I take one more look back at him and smile, before leaving the cabin, and walking across the camp, the smile still on my face. Last night might have been the best night of my life. I actually got to kiss Nico di Angelo! And it was amazing, better then imagined it would have been. And then I found out he loved me, my heart nearly stopped, but what did that beautiful boy see in me? I was just son of Hephaestus, who spends most of their time building things, things that don't even get to be used half the time. But that doesn't matter anymore, Nico actually cares about me.
I'm still smiling when I reach the dinin pavilion, Jason looks up from talking to the others and sees me and smiles. Hazel turns around and sees me and gives me a grateful smile. I walk over to the Hephaestus table to sit with my other half siblings. I take a seat beside Nyssa and start to eat.
"Where the heck have you bee? You haven't been in the cabin in two nights!" Nyssa asks, but not loud enough for others to hear.
I shrug,"just out and about, mostly in bunker 9" I lie.
She stares at me a moment, deciding wheather to believe me or not. But I guess she buys it because she nods and says "okay." Then we both fall silent and go back ot eating breakfast.
Halfway through breakfast I glance up and see Nico walking toward the pavilion, he catches my stare and smiles before taking a seat at the Hades table, I see Hazel get up and she hurries over to her brother and sits across from him and talks to him in a low voice. She doesn't look mad, or worried, so what the heck is she going on about?
I looked away before anyone noticed I was staring. Heat rising in my cheeks from having looked at Nico so long.
After breakfast is over I quickly stand up and begin walking over to Bunker 9. I wanted to get a head start on trying to fix Festus, after the little accient his head was the only working thing, so I had put him on the Argo II. Besides I wanted someone to talk to, and who better then Festus? On the walk there I had the strangest feeling I was being watched and followed, when I looked back though, there was nobody there.
Inside Bunker 9, I went over to my work bench and slipped my goggles onto my forehead and walked over to Festus, trying to figure out where I should begin. I dug around in my tool belt and produced a hammer. I walk about to begin working when I got that feeling of being watched and quickly turned, and saw the Ghost Prince standing in the doorway of Buker 9.
"Hey" I say, smiling I put my hammer back in my tool belt and gingerly walk over to him.
"Hey," he finally says, smilnig as I get closer.
He steps inside and closes the door behind him.
"Sorry I kinda just showed up, I saw you walk off after breakfast and wanted to see if you were fine."
I smile, "It's fine. I just came here cause I thought about getting a head start on fixing Festus, but I don't know, maybe I can start later."
I look down and notice Nico has his sword I made him strapped to his belt, I guess he did like it, but I thought it was still at the arena? He had dropped it when he ran off yesterday. I mentally slap myself, he probably went to the arena to get it. I can be so stupid sometimes.
"Would you like to come in and take a seat?" I ask him, cause it's sorta strange just standing here in silence as we stare at one another.
He nods, "Umm... sure."
He follows me over to my work bench, I take a seat on the stool, and he takes a seat beside me on the other stool.
"Umm... Leo I was just wondering..." Nico says trailing off at the end.
I look up and stare into his eyes, his cheeks rising with heat, "Yeah?" I ask him.
"I was just wondering .... about last night .... I was just wondering ... after we ... you know .... what are we?" He asks nervously and looks away.
Oh. A smile tugs at the corner of my lips and I'm hoping he can't see how red my face must be. What were we? We both said we liked each other, well more like said we loved each other, and we kissed ... a few times. Does that mean we are together? Or no? What if we are together and things get awkward? What if the others find out and they judge us? What happens now? But I really want to be with him, I need him. I'd be willing to do anything to be with him. Maybe we could try and be together, just you know just keep it to our selfs for a bit, though it seems Jason probably know, and Piper can probably tell since she's the child of Aphrodite, and having been with Jason when everything happened. I'm willing to try if Nico is.
"Umm... I'm not exactly sure," I say, "I was kinda hoping that, cause of last night we were ... you know ..."
One corner of Nico's mouth turns up, into one of his half smiles that I love so much. "Same," is his only reply.
I stand up from my stool and run a hand over my pants, pretending to brush off dirt that wasn't really there, then I reached my hands up and fixed my goggles. I take a step over to Nico, and he looks up at me. I stare into his eyes, admiring at how beautiful they are. I stare at the way his hair is pushed to one side of his face, just covering his left eye. I gingerly reach over and move his soft, inky hair from his face, but instead of taking my hand away I keep it where it is. Nico closes his eyes and sighs at my touch, I smile and lean down and place my lips on his cold, soft ones. Slowly Nico reaches his arm up and wraps it arond my neck, pulling me closer to him. I take my hand from his face and bring it down and put my hand under his aviator jacket and wrao my arm around his waist, my other arm following. My hand finds the hem of his black t-shirt and I run my hand up his spin, sending a shiver out through him, making me smile against his lips.
"Oh umm... sorry" someone says behind us.
Both of his spring apart, then heat returning to our cheeks when we see Jason standing in the doorway. He smiles when he looks from Nico to me, and back again.
"I didn't realize you two were umm... busy."
All we both can so is stare at Jason. What if he tells everyone what he saw? He couldn't even keep Nico's secret how will he keep this? It's almost as if Jason can read my mind because he puts his hands up in surrender.
"Don't worry dude I'm not going to say anything. Besides, no effence but it was pretty obvious ther was something going on, when you two kept on staring at each other over breakfast. ANd if your worried nobody noticed but you."
I sigh in relief. If Jason does say anything though, i'm going to kill him. If he says anything the friendships we had with everyone would be ruined, and everyone at camp would probably hate us and be disgusted.
"Though I'm not sure what the problem with people knowing. Nobody is going to judge you, I can promise you that. But you can tell everyone when ever you are ready, they won't hate you," he says before smiling once more and leaves the Bunker leaving me and Nico alone again.
