"Hey, (First Name). I'm going to get us something to drink. Wait here.", your boyfriend said.
You smiled and gave him a nod. He stood up and walked away, leaving you sitting on the bench alone. He thought it was a good idea to bring you to a carnival as a date. Even though you two did some pretty cliché but cute activities together, you still enjoyed the date. You were texting your friend when a person's shadow loomed over you. Looking up, you were face to face with your ex, (Ex's Name).
"(Ex's Name)..."
"Long time no see, (First Name).", he smirked.
You averted your eyes from him and stood up, "E-Excuse me."
You tried walking past him but he grabbed you by the arm and pulled you back.
"You're not going anywhere."
You glare at him but he wasn't fazed by it.
"Listen, (First Name). I want you back."
"Wha...let me go!"
He clicked his tongue and gripped your arm tighter, making you whimper in pain.
"S-Stop it, (Ex's Name)! You're hurting me!"
"Not until you agree to be mine again!"
You raised your hand to smack him but a voice stopped you.

"Excuse me, what are you doing?"
Turning your head, you saw Brick standing a few feet away from you and (Ex's Name) with two cans of (soft drink/juice) in his hands. Your ex growled at him and told him to go away. You saw Brick's eye slightly twitch in annoyance, meaning something in him snapped.
The redhead gripped the cans tightly until they both got crushed, shocking you and (Ex's Name). Brick walked towards the two of you and pulled you away from the trembling male, wrapping his arms around you and hugging you protectively.
"Don't touch her or even get near her, you jackass. If I see your face again, I will crush you the same way I did to those cans.", he looked at (Ex's Name) with dark red eyes.
Your ex stumbled back and ran away in fear. Brick eyes softened as he looked down at you with worry written on his face.
"Are you OK? Did he hurt you?"
You shook your head and smiled softly, "I'm fine, thank you."
Boomer
"(First Name)!"
Turning your head, you saw Boomer drop the drinks in his hands and run towards you. He punched (Ex's Name) right on the face and sent him flying onto the concrete, catching the attention of many people.
"What do you think you're doing to MY girlfriend? If you hurt her, I swear to God-"
"Boomer, please!"
You pulled Boomer away from the scene and left (Ex's Name) on the ground with a bleeding nose and with some people surrounding him and guards picking him up to carry him to a clinic.
When you two were finally alone, you placed a hand on Boomer's cheek, calming him down. When he realized what he did, his eyes widened and he covered his face in shame.
"I'm sorry, (First Name)! I didn't mean to be that violent in front of you! I just...I just..."
You gently moved his hands away from his face and saw tears in the corners of his closed eyes. Smiling softly, you kissed both of his eyelids. His cheeks turned pink from your actions and he opened his beautiful ocean blue eyes.
"Oh, Boomer. I know you only did it to protect me. I forgive you."
"R-Really? I'm so sorry, (First Name)..."
You giggled, "It's OK, Boomer."
"You...you won't see me as a different person from now on, right...?"
"You're adorable, Boomer. Of course not, you're still the same teddy bear I know."
Butch
"OI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY GIRLFRIEND?!", Butch yelled as he roughly grabbef (Ex's Name) by the collar of his shirt.
Your ex didn't seem threatened by him and smirked, provoking Butch even more.
"You shithead. I'M GOING TO-"
"No, stop!", you pulled Butch away from your ex and gripped his arm, "Please don't make a scene, Butch!"
Growling, Butch wrapped his arms around you and said, "I'm going to pound your sorry little ass if I see you near her again."
He then spat on (Ex's Name) shirt and walked away while holding you close, making a mental note to himself to never leave you alone again.
Ben
"Please let go of her.", Ben said calmly.
(Ex's Name) scoffed and pulled you behind him, "And what are you going to do about it, dickhead?
Furrowing his eyebrows, he poured the drinks all over (Ex's Name).
"WHAT THE-! YOU LITTLE PUNK, I'M GONNA-"
"I'm sorry, but I think you're the dickhead here."
(Ex's Name) tried to land a punch on him but Ben easily dodged and moved behind him. He kicked (Ex's Name) on his back, sending him onto the ground on his stomach. Ben grabbed your hand and ran away with you before (Ex's Name) could get up and catch the two of you.
Both of you hid in a place where (Ex's Name) couldn't find you and tried to catch your breaths. You faced Ben and gave him a peck on the nose.
"Thank you, Ben."
He smiled and kissed you on the lips, "No problem, (First Name). It's my duty as your boyfriend to protect you, you know."
Bailey
"Look out, (First Name)!"
Gasping when you saw a can hurling towards you and (Ex's Name), you quickly ducked and the can hit your ex perfectly on the face. You and many other people faced Bailey and he rubbed the back of his head sheepisly.
"I intended to throw it to the trash can behind him but instead, I hit him in the face. Oops!"
You smiled at his ridiculous excuse.
Braden
"Ahem."
(Ex's Name) snorted when he saw Braden standing behind you, your drinks placed on the bench where you sat earlier
"What do you want? Can't you see-"
"Shut up."
"Hah?!"
"I said shut up. What do YOU want with my girlfriend?"
"Pfft, this guy is your new boyfriend? I'm way more better looking than him!"
Braden popped a vein and grabbed you, pulling you away from (Ex's Name).
"Hey! What the-", he was cut off by a sudden kick to the crotch.
Blade
"Let go of her.", Blade said in a calm manner, but you knew he was mad.
"What if I don't want to? Who the fuck are you, anyway?"
"I'm her BOYFRIEND."
"Wait, seriously? This guy is your new boyfriend? He's so emotionless and he looks boring too!", your ex laughed.
"Don't insult him, (Ex's Name)! He's way better than you!", you protested.
"Whatever.", he said, "You'll still be mine."
Blade's blood began to boil when your ex grips your arm tighter with a smug smirk, completely ignoring his presence.
"(Ex's Name), let go of me if you don't want to get hurt!"
"Hurt? What do you mean by-"
He was suddenly grabbed by the back of his shirt and thrown to the ground. Before he could get up, Blade placed his foot on (Ex's Name) chest and pressed down, making your ex grunt and grit his teeth in pain.
"She will never be with someone like you, especially after breaking up with her. I'm hers, she's mine and I shower her with my undying love unlike you. So from now, I want you to stay away from her or I'll tear to shreds."
Stepping back from the frightened male, (Ex's Name) immediately stood up and ran away. Blade sighed and turned around to face you.
"Was I too violent...?"
"Yes, but thank you.", you smiled.
