Chapter 12: Excalidite

Max pov

I walked back to the farm lost in thought. 'Why would this necklace attract me so much' I thought.

I arrived at the farm to find two boys and a girl running around. I greeted them and walked into the room were the magiclopidia.

"I need your help." I said to the book.

"How may I be of assistance to you?" He asked.

"What can you tell me about this?" I asked him showing him the necklace.

The pages flipped to the last page. "Place the necklace here." The book said.

I as I was told and place the necklace on the page. "So what now?" I asked him.

"This will take a moment." He said.

"Okay I'm going to order a soldier to stay here if you're done tell him to call me." I said and went to Tyler.

"So what did you buy?"He asked me.

"A necklace." I said with a smile.

"Oh so you want to play?" He asked.

"Sure. What are you playing?" I asked.

"Tag you're it." He said and ran away from me.

"Oh I see. I'm going to get you!" I yelled chasing them around.

I ran behind Tyler chasing him. I caught up to him and tackled him to the ground. We both laughed. He turned around and saw how close my face was to his and he blushed and pushed me off of him. We sat there in silence for few seconds until one soldier came running.

"Sir. The book is finished." He said.

"Okay. I have to go. We'll talk about this later." I said and followed the soldier back to the room.

"Max you won't believe what this is." He said with joy.

"I'm listening." I said.

"This necklace is indeed a magical object. It's called Excalidite." He said.

"You mean Excalibur." I said.

"No Excalidite. This necklace was made from the reaming metal from Excalibur. They thought it won't be as powerful as Excalibur so they didn't tell anyone about it. They gave the necklace to Merlin and he saw the potential the necklace had and add its details to my library. It was called Excalidite the twin sister of Excalibur. She has the same properties as her brother and more. She gives the person who wear her additional manna." He said.

"Wow." I said and took the necklace.

'So now you know who and what I really am.' A female voice said in my head.

"Hm can the necklace talk?" I asked the book.

"I don't know it's not in my database." He said.

'He doesn't know I can't talk because you're the first person I talked to.' The voice said.

'Oh well I'm honored to be the first.' I said in my head.

"Okay I have to go and discus something with Tyler." I said and walked to Tyler's room. Just as I was about to open the door I heard him crying. Knocked on the door and it went silent in the room.

"Come in." I heard him say. I opened the door and saw him under the covers.

I walked to the bed and notice a bag with clothes in it. "Tyler?" I said and sat on the bed.

"Don't w... worry I... I will be gone by morning." He said still crying.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused.

"I saw the look on your face when you saw I blushed when you were on top of me. You hate me." He said.

"What? I'm not mad and I definitely don't hate you." I said pulling the covers off of him only to see scratch marks all over his arms.

"Why did you do that?"I asked and felt heart broken. I healed his arms a pulled him closer and he cried on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." He said sobbing.

Arthur came into the room and saw us. "Sir. We're under attack." He said whisper yelling.

"Okay you can go and handle it." I said.

After a few minutes Tyler stopped and fell asleep I lied us on the bed and fell asleep.

Summery of chapter 13: Love

I woke up next to Max he was still asleep and I was in his arms. It wasn't a dream. It really happened. I lei back down on his chest and listen to his heartbeat it was fast too fast. He was having a nightmare.
