"Frisk?"
"Yeah, Chara?"
"You won't forget me, will you?"
"Yeah. Why do you ask?"
"I'm scared..."
"Scared of what,Chara?"
"Disappearing..."

I woke with a start, the dream still in my mind. Was it really a dream? A shiver went down my spine as I thought about it. I think I'll just think of it as a dream, and ignore it. Pushing the covers off I stepped onto the cold hard wood flooring, another shiver going through my body. I glanced towards the window, everything looked muffled. It must have snowed last night. I reached into my closet and pulled out a sweater, it still smelled like the Underground. A giggle passed through my lips at the thought.
"Frisk!" A yell came up from the stairs. I smiled wider.
"I'll be right down, Mom!" I knocked on the wall before going into the hallway. I went to a plain door a little ways down the hall. My hand trailing along the wall to make sure that I wouldn't pass by it. I knocked on the door.
"Sans~" I whispered in a sing-song voice. A groan came from behind the door. "I'm coming in, lazybones." I pushed the door open and entered the mess of a room. My hands went to my hips as I looked at the lump in the covers.
"Sans, I know you're up," I said, trying to scowl, but a smile tugged at my lips.
"maybe..." came the muffled voice. I giggled.
"Come on. Mom has breakfast waiting," I said, pulling the covers off of him. He reached for them, immediately feeling the cold seep into his bones. He opened a single eye socket to look at me. His ever present smile widening just a bit.
"short cut?" he asked me. I giggled with a nod and offered him my hand. He took it.
*POP*
I glanced around the dining room. Only three spots were set at the table. Papyrus must have left early.
"Good morning, my child," a white goat monster said, giving me a smile.
"'Morning Mom!" I signed. It'd been about a year since Asr-Flowey had broken the barrier. All of the monsters thought that I had done it, and I wasn't really going to correct them. It would crush too many of them to hear that the prince had been turned into a soulless flower. Speaking of him...
"Dumb butt!" a hoarse, echoey voice called to me. I rolled my eyes under my eyelids, turning to face him.
"Yes, Flowey?" I signed before grabbing a cup of water for him. He hissed a bit, still not really used to being taken care of by other people again.
"Do you have to go to school again?" he asked. His voice sounded like it was trying to be condescending, but a tinge of sadness lurked within it. After the whole incident with him opening the barrier in the Underground, he had a speck of his old soul. It gave him the ability to feel, even if it was just a bit. He seemed happier now, but he still acted like he didn't have the speck.
"Yes, Flowey," I signed to him. A frown passed quickly across his face. He crossed his leaves.
"So, I'll be stuck with the smiling trash bag all day, again?" he growled. Sans gave a wave from his spot on the couch. I shook my shoulders as if I were giggling.
"Yes. I know you don't like Sans, but do your best to not make a scene. The neighbors are still mad about what happened last week," I signed. A wicked chuckle escaped him as he thought of the memory. I gave a light glare at him.
