The last thing I hear before the sudden darkness is a voice call out my name.
"Brie?"

We were at the hotel getting prepped for our concert.
I was wearing a black long-sleeve skin-tight dress that was pulled down to show my shoulders. They decided to straighten my medium-length blonde hair and pack it in a ponytail. My eyes were sporting a heavy purple eyeshadow with a sleek black wing and a coat of mascara. I coated my lips with another layer of burgundy lipstick and smoothed down my hair.
As they sprayed me one more time with perfume and some other shiny potion I grabbed my phone and slipped on the purple heels they had given me. After this gig I'd be able to go back home to my family and finally spend the night in my bedroom. Well, attic.
My manager yanked open my hotel room without a warning, "C'mon Brie, everyone's downstairs waiting in the lobby."
Her American voice was a contrast to the normal British accents I'd hear everyday.
Once I arrived at the lobby, a messy chorus of voices greet me: "Hey Brie!"
"Hey everyone!" I chirped. "Hey Geoff," I said, looking towards our limo driver
"Brie," he said, nodding in recognition.
"Alright, everyone let's get going. Your concert isn't waiting for anyone."
"You look hot." Zac whispered from next to me.
Zac was the drummer for our band, he had black hair with a quiff and a line going through his eyebrows. He had a sharp jaw line, green eyes and olive skin. He was the definition of perfect.
Standing next to Zac was Sydney and James. Sydney was our electric guitarist who has short blonde hair and had a love for the shade black. She was all about black lipstick, eyeshadow, eye liner clothes, shoes everything. The only thing that was coloured about her was her hair and her green eyes. She had freckles peppered across her nose and faint ones on her cheek and she was pale like me. Her hair was tucked behind her left ear to show her 5 piercings from the top of her ear to the bottom with another stud piercing in her nose.
James is our bass player who had long brown hair which was ruffled up. He had blue eyes and thick eyebrows which he continues to deny he gets done but we all know he does. He also had an oblong jaw with thin lips and quite fair skin.
Walking ahead to the limo outside was Meghan and David. Meghan did vocals with me and has long dyed red locks that she straightened out for this event. She has caramel coloured skin and had gold eyeshadow with a bold wing and clear glossy lipstick, making her 'blue eyes' stand out. 'Contacts.' I thought rolling my eyes. Her eyes aren't normally blue, they're a dark coffee brown.
David, who played the keyboard, also had red hair however his hair wasn't dyed like Meg's. He had brown eyes, freckles all over his face and pale skin. David was lean but had some muscles on his arms after he started hitting the gym with Zac and James.
David and Meghan have been having this cute little fling. Wherever Meghan goes David follows and vice-versa. Every joke David makes Meghan is laughing, blushing or twirling her hair nervously and David hangs on to every word she says. I can't help but smile for those two whenever I see them together. As we reached outside the Hotel, the screaming fans you could hear from a mile away bombarded our sight. The shrieks and hollers was a blessing to our ears as it reminded us of our success and where we have finally reached as a band. But I can only imagine that the Security in black suits, that swarmed around us like bees to honey, was intimidating. That can kind of lessen the mood of excitement.
I slightly frowned which I quickly covered up with a broad smile. The first few times we had gigs, I would get a fluttering feeling in my chest. I would get a surge of excitement knowing I was about to perform in massive crowd of strangers who could finally hear my voice and see my one talent. But after only 1 year of concerts and singing the feeling had started to splutter out and die like an old engine.
I didn't get that feeling anymore.
We needed something new, something exciting. Like a tour. I would love to go around Europe again. To see the world. But I'm tied here, and I plan to change that. Sooner or later.
Just not now.
But as I remembered we're gonna perform our very first song that was co-written by all of us and another random song-writer, that tingling feeling started to creep right back up again after what felt like a lifetime.

Geoff finally pulled away from the garage filled with cars to the arena we were performing at in London. He followed a couple of black cars ahead of us and drove with small caution.
James reached over me to grab a champagne bottle from the ice bucket and six glass cups.
He handed each of us a cup, pouring the bubbly white wine inside of it.
After he was done, he lifted his glass in the air and boasted a bright smile.
"To another day without being jumped by our lovely fans."
"To another day!" I agreed with the rest.
