A larger building, well large compared to the size of the buildings, stood, also made of mud and vines all over. Embedded in the vines was pink crystals and large crystals stood on either side of an entrance. The hide covering this entrance seemed elegant and beautiful, adorned with body paints.

"Thats the council building. I work there with six other wolves among a council. But, im more of a backup incase any wolf is ill or cant make it." Griseus commented. Ruber, hearing the comment, spun around and looked at her, his fur fluffing out a little.

"You do not know how important your job is! You were chosen special." he barked. Griseus rolled her eyes.

"But it ISNT importan-"

"Shush. It is. The tribe chose you." Ruberl put a paw to her mouth. Griseus just looked at him, indifferent. "Now, its time we go in. You two need to be announced." The white wolf said, turning back around and leading the way. Griseus snorted and looked off to the side. Lilit walked up next to her and started talking to her.

That left Storm without a buddy, so he thought maybe he could walk next to Ruber. He tried to speed up next to him, but by that time the white wolf had shoved Storm back.

"Now little pups-" Storm huffed at that. "-You are about to meet our esteemed council."

Walking into the hide, the room inside was revealed. Small fires were lit in a semicircle opposite side of the council members. They seemed to light up the incoming visitors, leaving the council in almost a veil of shadow. Only their masks appeared, reflecting the lights. One little gem was in the center of each mask, declaring one different color. They seemed to sit in chronological order of a rainbow, starting from red and ending on purple. But two colors seemed to be missing. Red and Green. Storm looked at Ruber's mask and on it was a red gem. He looked to see the color on Griseus' mask, but there was none. She appeared to be a regular tribe member.

"Ah, Griseus, you are here and- you brought guests." one of the wolves said, thought it was hard to tell which one exactly because of the poor lighting. Geiseus just nodded, whisking her tail on the ground. "Well, why dont you tell us a bit about them."

"I-"

"We are plenty fine to do it ourselves." Lilith spoke up, walking a little ahead of Griseus. Storm took this as the cue step up next to her. "If you would allow us to."

A wolf nodded, probably the one that spoke, and Lilith spoke.

"I am Lilith and this is my brother Storm. We had traveled very far for shelter. Our family was murdered and it no longer felt safe there." she explained. Storm nodded, confirming all the details. "Th-"

"Who murdered them?" one of the other wolves asked.

"Shadows." the whole room made their own startled sounds, the room suddenly feeling very uneasy and filling with anxious lighting. The wolf with the yellow gem seemed very unnerved, their tail flicking nervously. Only one wolf seemed undaunted, the one with the blue gem. The eyes it wore, the color of purple, dug into Storm's fur.

Storm had to take a step back, feeling uneasy with the gaze this wolf was giving him. But he calmed down once the rest of the council seemed to relax and the gaze was onto something else. He seemed to let out a breath he didnt even know he had.

"Those things are terrible, vile." one wolf said, the rest of the council nodding.

"You two are very brave to have survived that." the wolf with the orange gem said, its voice feminine. "If it is well with the council, i believe we should let these two stay for a while. They must be exhausted."

"Let us throw our stones into the pit. The we shall see what the decision is." the wolf with the purple gem said, her voice loud. Picking up stones, the wolves tossed them into the center. The stones made clacking as they landed in the pit.

A wolf from the side, hidden before, came up to the put and looked inside. It wore a cloak, disguising it from any distinguishing features whatsoever. It bowed it's head to look and put a paw inside it. Then it lifted his head, with its muzzle showing, and announced the decision.

"Upon counting the votes, the council had come across a decision."
