That night Scout went to bed, falling into a deep sleep right away, which led her straight into the memory of an old flashback, a dream that night.

She was looking in on two younger versions of both she and Andy sitting in a small room with a desk, a big empty chair on the other side of it. Scout remembered it was an office, and she remembered exactly where that office was and why they were there, too.

Her memory of that office gave her the chills.... and not in a good way. She hated that office, and she would never go back there again, especially careful to keep Dennis away from there. Though he was a in-many-ways a self-sufficient teenager, he was still her precious innocent baby.

She saw her teenage self sitting in the room, seemingly very worried and clutched onto Andy, making sure to stay close to him. Young Andy was hold her back tight, trying his best to comfort her any way he could.

"Are you sure these people will be good for them, Andy? That they'll take care of them?"

"Yeah. I'm sure the adoption center had taken the right precautions with finding new parents to take care of them right? I mean, it sure seems like it," he assured her, though there was sadness in his voice.

Teenage Scout nodded, still seeming hesitant and unsure of it all.

She still wished to this day he had been right about that prediction.
