PLACE: FIRST

Name: Cadette Lance

Age: 15

Gender: Female

District: 8

Appearance: The expression "a smile is the best accessory" really stands true for Cadette. Her wide grin will lighten even the darkest of moods, and her laughter is contagious. She has short blonde hair so light it sometimes appears white, especially in summer. Swirls of caramel color her irises. On the paler end of the spectrum, her skin tends to not tan well, leaving her on the verge of snow white. Cadette's height is nothing special, around average; she stands at approximately 5 feet 3 inches(and a half. Don't forget the half).

Personality: A relatively happy girl, Cadette will share a smile with just about anyone, hoping to make the world even a slightly better place. She's independent and likes to do things by herself, but has good enough judgement to know when to seek out a friend or family member. An outgoing introvert, she dislikes a lot of people but never makes them feel uncomfortable when she has to interact with them or show her hate. Cadette isn't the sharpest tool in the box, but she's far from the dullest- like most things, she stands just above average wits-wise. She's not the strongest mentally, but she certainly doesn't break down at every little thing. Cadette's a very kind person, but she also won't hesitate to punch a rival if they provoke her. She has a hint of perfectionist in her, liking to include all the details(such as the half inch in her height), but it's not like she's known for her OCD. Cadette simply hasn't discovered where she really shines yet.

Past: The runt of the litter, Cadette was the youngest in a family of four children, and the only girl. Her brothers -Gunner, Flint, and Jet- were all unruly kids and frequently got into fights with each other; eventually, as she grew older, punches landed on Cadette as well. From a young age, she had to learn how to defend herself and avoid injuries from her siblings- despite the fact that they beat her up, Cadette knows her brothers do love her. The Lance family is very tightly knit together, a bright group of people during hard times. Although they don't have much money from the low-paying jobs of tailor and seamstress her parents are employed as, Cadette likes her life centered around her family. She additionally has two close friends named Arthur and Tristan.

Strengths: Cadette is a fighter- years of learning how to block her brother's attacks has made it difficult for anyone to beat her up. She has some wits, some mental strength, and some of just about everything, but no remarkable strengths. Cadette is, however, willing to learn just about anything and hone her skills until they are noticeably good.

Weaknesses: Cadette has an unfortunate habit of starting things and never finishing them, something that may come back to bite her if ever needs to kill. She will go occasionally to extreme measures just to be noticed or make her family proud of her, which oftentimes they end up not being. Additionally, Cadette has a horrible sense of direction and a difficult time taking orders from people and following directions. She likes being able to do things her own way, not somebody else's.

Weapon of Choice: Primarily, her fists, but she has basic knowledge on just about anything.

Drawn/Volunteered: Volunteered. A reckless decision, she knew, but for once she wanted to escape the background and take the spotlight. Whether she'll be known as an idiot or a victor, Cadette's not sure, but at least she'll have made a name for herself.

Token: Cadette needs nothing but her memories.

FILE NOTES:

- Okay, so this was probably the first tribute I wasn't 100% emotionally attached to. Cadette ended up becoming barely anything of what this form says, but I'm excited to play around with her as an elderly woman, and I think a few more tasks with her will be just what I need to get emotionally attached.

- That token is incredibly ironic and I didn't do that on purpose.
