Riley's POV
I'm at the doctors right now. Lucas was here but had to leave for work. I just had some test done and the doctor told me the results should be in soon. I'm waiting to check out right now.
A week later
Lucas and I are waiting for the doctor to call. It's been a week and the results should be in. I'm nervous that it's something bad. Lucas keeps saying to stay positive, but I'm not sure I can.
2 hours later
The doctor just called and I'm beyond nervous. He wants us to come in so he can talk to us. So as of now I'm getting ready to leave to the doctor and see what is going on.
30 min. later
Riley- hello
Dr.- ahh Riley, Lucas come in
Riley- thanks
After we sat down he gives us a look and I immediately know something is wrong.
Riley- what's wrong?
Dr.- I'm afraid I have bad news
Lucas- well what is it? I'm sure you can help, right?
Dr.- I'm afraid not, the cancer is spreading at a fast rate. It's to late to stop. I'm sorry. I estimate maybe 3 months at most is all you have left.
I felt like crying and screaming. I'm not ready to die. I just got married I can't leave him already. Leaving Lucas here scares me to no end. But if I do die, I hope he moves on and becomes happy once again.
