Shadow traveling

      When I walked into my room and got everything situated I started laying on the bed observing everything around me it was such a new place the walls were a red wine color,the curtains or dark black like the color of charcoal keeping the sunlight from entering into my room, but I have always liked the darkness maybe because I'm a child of hades but maybe just because the darkness comforts me like a kid covering there head with a blanket at night when they here a scary sound,on the other hand when I herd a sound I would just sit and close my eyes count to ten and clam down. About ten minutes after getting settled in to my new room a herd a loud bang on my door.
   "Alyx no time to explain open the door and lets go" yelled Lilly from the outside of my door. I got up and opened the door and Lilly had a tariffed look on her face, when I put one foot outside of my door a giant hell hound was running around the corner with Hope digging a mechanical spear into its rib cage.
   " what the hell is going on!" I yelled in confusion.
  " I said no time to explain we have to help Hope and the other kids were the most powerful demigods here we have to do something."
  " Got it lets go." I grabbed a sword laying against my bedroom wall and ran after Lilly barefoot with no armor. I didn't know what I was doing but it seemed right.

     Me and Lilly ran to the main entrance were more monsters were flooding in a few at a time, we had teachers and students all fighting we even saw a few go down in the battle. This is my first day here and I have already seen a bunch of deaths. I got distracted by Lilly getting swept off her feet with a cyclops towering over her, now I don't know a lot about monsters but I sure as hell knew this was a cyclops. I started running towards Lilly and while I was running a ran into Hope and took her with me, the more the merrier I told myself.
   " I'll distract the cyclops and you get Lilly away from that thing or at least help her up so we can keep fighting."
   "Ok lets go" I started yelling at the cyclops and a bunch of other monsters started chasing after me as well, I didn't know what to do so I closed my eyes and all the noise stopped I counted to ten and opened my eyes, all the monsters were gone and all the survivors from the school were staring in aw at me.
