Waking up I see Joseph sleeping on my bed snoring lightly. I decide to just watch him simply because watching him sleep calms me. I can't even describe the feeling of watching him, as nothing but love. Love that makes me smile without force. I just love it. It's so intoxicating that it melts my heart to see I can love again. I look down at Josephs handsome face, & see him looking up at me and smiling. I smile back and lay back down, only to shapshift to the size of a quatz. "Have a good sleep love?" I ask "As long as I've got you by my side wherever I am, I've had a good anything babe" Joseph says pulling me close to his chest. I lay my head on his chest, and snuggle close to him & his scent. We have been together for three months, & it's been a whole five months since Joseph has been away from Earth. I know he longs to go home, yet he doesn't complain about being away from the planet he calls home. I still feel as if I am the one pulling him from his own kind for my own selfish reasons. Yet I don't feel guilty about keeping him for my own lonely heart. I still wish to love like Josephs heart does for me & feel...love for everything. I snap out of my daze when I hear Joseph calling out my name. "Blue, you okay...you stopped talking all of a sudden?" Joseph asks me, clearly worried,"Sweet Joseph, I'm alright just thinking is all" I reassure him. He doesn't look all that convinced so he asks again and I tell him what was on my mind. Afterwards he chuckles and kisses my forehead tenderly. "Love I feel no doubt in this relationship at all. Okay, you are my light, my beauty, my everything. That will never change, ever. Now get some sleep we both need it after the day we've had today" he finishes off before kissing me passionately. We drift off into a land of dreams, and all my guilt goes away & I think to myself again. ' Yes I can love like you Joseph'.
