Feeding time

Ratchet's P.O.V.

I pointed to another word on my datapad and looked down at Skylynx, who was looking at the datapad with concentration. "Now, what's this word, Lynx?" I asked, and the sparkling squinted her optics and opened her mouth. "C-... Uhh... C-cyber... Cybertron?" She said, looking at the word in confusion. I smiled at her proudly, but frowned at the realisation that she would grow up in a world of war, instead of our once beautiful planet gone dark. Lynx looked up at me with concern in her optics. "D-did I say wrong, Sire?" She said, staring at me with her big green optics. I looked down, regaining my smile as I saw her optics. "No, no! You're doing great." I said, pointing my datapad again, only to hear a 'beep!' from the computer. I looked up at the computer, and realised that it had tracked an energon cave with enemy signals. I looked at it sternly as I stood up straight and walked to the computer, Skylynx watching me curiously as I did. "Sire busy?" She asked me, and I looked at her guiltily. "Yes, just for an hour or two, okay? Why don't you go find Bumblebee? He'll watch you while I work." I said, and she nodded blankly, hopping off the chair and walking out of the medbay. I vented lightly and looked to the computer again.

Bumblebee's P.O.V.

I looked around as I heard the clanking of little pedes on the floor of the base, seeing Skylynx looking up at me with wide optics. :"Hey Lynx, whatcha doing?": I asked her, kneeling down to her level. She pointed towards the medbay. "Sire busy, I'm bored." She said, and I assumed by 'Sire' she meant Ratchet, since he's been taking care of her the most. I smiled. :"Well, are you hungry? We've got some energon in the humans area, and there are a couple friends I want you to meet.": I said, and her faceplates lit up. "New friends? Yaay!!!" She threw her servos in the air happily, running to humans area with me behind her. I laughed at her happy behaviour, and we entered the humans area, a television and couch there. Bulkhead and Arcee drove into the room, changing out of their alt. forms after Jack jumped off of Arcee, and Raf and Miko climbed out of Bulk.

Jack staggered back when he saw Skylynx, looking at her with wide eyes. "U-uhh... New recruit, I'm guessing?" He asked nervously, and Raf walked up to her, looking up, due to the fact that Lynx was a bit taller than he was. Miko jumped over excitedly, smiling widely at the little sparkling. "Cool! Now I can have another heavy metal buddy!" At that, all our optics widened. "No!" Arcee, Jack, RAF, Bulk, and I screamed, and I covered Lynx's audio receptors as she giggled. Miko raised her arms defensively. "What?" She asked, utter confusion in her tone.

---Time Skip---

I sat on the ground in front of Skylynx, my pedes crossed, and a cube of energon in my servo. I took a sip as Lynx messily drank hers, splashing little bits of energon on her faceplates. I chuckled at her messy figure, and grabbed a cloth to clean her up, but she pulled away when I tried to wipe the energon from her faceplates. I grunted and tried again, but this time she whined and transformed into her small gryphon form, making the humans gasp in shock, excitement, and confusion. I stood up and tried to grab her so I could clean her, and she hissed at me, swiping my servo away with a small wing.
:"C-c'mon, Lynx! You gotta be clean!": I shouted, before jumping at her, and she jumped over me, causing me to spill a cube of energon all over me. I sat there, grumbling under my vent. Bulk snickered as Skylynx transformed and landed in my lap, giggling happily. "You just got beat by a sparkling, hahahahaha!" Bulkhead laughed and Miko covered her mouth her hide her laughter, but failed, letting out a loud giggle.

Ratchet's P.O.V.

I vented as I finally finished coding another program onto the computer, allowing me to get an alert on my datapad in case of enemy signals, or energon detections, instead of just on the computer. I heard laughing from the other room over, and I strode out of the room, looking around to find Bumblebee on the ground, covered in energon with little Skylynx in his lap, giggling at the mess she had made. Bumblebee had an expression of defeat on his faceplates, making it almost comedically funny. "So I'm guessing feeding time was fun?" I asked sarcastically, and Bumblebee looked at me grumpily. :"Ha ha ha, very funny.":

-- so I decided to give Bee a voice, although it still sounds like 'bleep bloop', ok, comprendae? Great. Now ima go watch Force Awakens and Rogue One! Seeya!
