        BLUE NEIGHBORHOOD

Darcy jumped at the sound of the train honking, blood trickling down from her nose as she looked through the window. "Well Shit, looks like I'm in Hell now.." She wiped at her nose and looked at the blood strangely probably just because of the stress She thought, as the train stopped at the small station.

Darcy took a deep breath and stood up, She pulled her pale blue backpack from the seat next to her and grabbed the duffle bag from the other seat opposite her.

What was that dream back there? It felt so real, I need to stop thinking and get off this damn train.

Darcy swung the backpack over her shoulders and waited for a few people to go past her until making her way to the door, "You won't like it there, You're going to a bad place." A man in his thirties smirked from behind her, She turned and furrowed her eyebrows at him "What do you mean?" He chuckled and walked past her "You'll see, Once you meet him you'll understand." He then slammed the train door shut.

"What an asshole." Was all she said and left the train, sighing when the cold air hit her face.

The train started moving again as Darcy looked around, it was misty and cold, She could see herself shiver and curse under her breath, She could see herself closing her eyes as the snow started to fall around her.

Darcy opened her eyes again and stumbled slightly did I just leave my body?

She was confused and slightly worried for her own health, maybe the Doctor was right, maybe she was sick? After everything that happened, The fire, the death of her mother and the stress of moving to her dad's place, maybe she's just crazy?

The sound of the small iPhone in Darcy's back pocket yelped for attention as the screen lit up with the name of 'Dad' plastered on it, Darcy pressed the accept button and held it to her ear "Hey Dad, I'm at the train station now." She pulled at her beanie and looked for a sign that said 'Exit to Blue Neighborhood' Darcy's dad explained that he wouldn't make it to the train station and told her that she would have to go by feet, She tried her best not to blow a fuse at her dad for doing this and silently said "Okay, see you soon."

Her voice was raspy and shakey, She didn't want to walk in a strange neighborhood by herself and there's no way in Hell will she ever do it.

Darcy put away her phone and dragged the duffle bag along and through the exit to Blue Neighborhood, her heart was racing as she spotted an 80s styled banana seat bike parked a few feet away from her, she raced over to it thinking once or twice if she should do this "Hey! What are you doing? Get away from my bike!" A teenager, who appears to have already grown a beard came running out from a abandoned cafe, Darcy made a run for it with the staring wheel in hand.

"Come back here you son of a bitch!" The boy ran after her, catching up fast. Darcy stumbled over a rock, falling with a thud on the concrete she groaned and turned to see the boy looking down at her "what the hell dude! I paid a lot for this goddammit!" He picked up the bike and checked if it had any scratches, Darcy leaned on her elbows as she raised her left eyebrow at him "you haven't beaten me up yet, so I'm guessing you're not a drug dealer?" He looked Darcy up and down before shaking his head "Nah, I'm actually the drug taker" He pulled Darcy up and patted some dust off her jacket, He looked at her clothing and narrowed his eyes, black skinny jeans..nirvana tank top..denim jacket with odd patches on them..old black boots? 'She dresses oddly like my friends..weird' He thought.

"You're not from around here, are you?" He asked, smirking at Darcy, She shook her head and rubbed the back of her neck "No, I actually just arrived here from Seattle" He clicked his fingers at her and laughed lightly "Well, seemed you nearly stole my bike you must be heading somewhere?" She nodded at his reply which he then climbed onto the bike and patted the space behind him.

"I didn't get your name?" The guy focused on the road as He biked his way down the middle of the empty road, Darcy had her arms around his waist so she wouldn't fall off, she looked over his shoulder and broke a smile "I'm Darcy Jones, What about you?" He grinned, pedaling slowly "I'm Elton, Elton Castee. It's nice to meet someone who isn't a dick and only wants me for sex" She chuckled "It happens a lot I'm guessing?" Elton nodded.

"Hey, listen. I'm sorry for calling you a son of a bitch, I was just annoyed that you tried to steal my bike." Darcy laughed, holding onto Elton taught "It's cool, I'm glad you didn't beat me up because of it." They both laughed, as Elton stopped in front of her Dad's place.

"No way...this is my friend's house! Whose your dad?" Darcy got off the back of the bike and turned to Elton "he's not actually my dad, I just call him my dad because he wants to be my 'Dad'" She rolls her eyes and sighs "His name is Charlie" Elton shrugged "is he a player?" Darcy nodded and crossed her arms, "Well, I'll see you around Darcy!" Elton waved and began to bike down the street.

Sweet, a person I get to call my friend..

Darcy walked up the old and Grey pathway, walking up onto the porch. The house was white and black, two square windows were on each side of the front.

She raised her hand to the door and knocked, nobody answered.
The door was unlocked maybe he forgot to lock it? Darcy opened the door, walking slowly in "Hello?" She made her way down the hallway, passing the living room, kitchen and the stairs that lead upstairs.

She turned another corner and jumped when she saw the blonde walking down the hallway on his phone, He looked up and smiled "Sam?" She ran up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly "It's so great to see you" Sam mumbled into her ear, chuckling as he swayed them both side to side.

"So Darcy, when did you get here?" Sam asked as everyone ate the pasta and mince that Sam cooked, Sam knew a lot about Darcy he even knew her favorite meal, they've known each other since they were 12.

Darcy swallowed the pasta and looked over at Sam "I got here at three thirty, I'm pretty sure. I had this weird dream too, I was back in the fire..let's not talk about right now..it's to gory for dinner" She chuckled and took a bite of the food again. Her dad sipped his glass of water and looked over at her from across the table "I have a question" Darcy also picked her glass up "Go ahead" She sipped at the water while awaiting for her dad to answer "have you had sex yet?" That caused Darcy to spit out her water and cough, Sam snickered and eyed his Dad, "Dad!" Darcy yelled and blushed, covering her face with her hands "I'm serious, have you?" Charlie had a straight face now, he was definitely serious.

Darcy looked up and shook her head "No! And I don't plan to any time soon.." Darcy leaned back in her chair and frowned, Sam wiped his mouth and stood up "Well i'm finished, Darcy wanna help me with the dishes?" She nodded and took Charlie's plate and her own plate into the kitchen, letting Sam do the washing and she did the drying.

"You tired?" Sam asked her while washing the plates and passing them to her, She shook her head and dried the plates "Just a little bit, the train ride was boring without you." Sam chuckled at her answer "Life's been boring without you, Dar"

Darcy finished drying all the dishes and sat up on the counter "I met a guy today"
Sam raised his eyebrows at her "Is he hot?" She shook her head "dude, not every person I meet are hot. His name is Elton, he biked me home after I nearly stole his bike" She giggled at the memory, Sam dried his hands on the tea towel and leant on the counter next to her "Oh I know him, He's a friend of mine. We explore the abandoned neighborhood together along with Colby and Corey" She smirked "Colby? Corey? They sound like your local bullies."

"They're my friends," Sam chuckled "I'll introduce them to you tomorrow." Darcy nodded and hopped off the counter, flattening her tank top.
"Come on, let's go and star gaze" Sam pulled her along and down the hallway to the roof.

"I remember this," Darcy smiled which they sat up on the ceiling.
"We used to come up here every time Charlie came home with some new girlfriend he got." They both laughed at the memory, Darcy rested her head on Sam's shoulder and looked out over the white covered mountains, snow falling lightly down on their heads and everywhere else, Sam brought his arm around her to keep her warm.

They both smiled up at the stars.

"I missed this blue neighborhood."
