The next day Niall came over and we were all on a kayaking/paddle boarding trip. Niall, Katie, Emma, and I were on paddle boards while everyone else was in kayaks. We were paddling around the lake and took a break where there were no cabins.
I'd just explained to Niall the plans for the rest of the summer and he frowned, "You'll be really busy," I paddled next to him and teased,
"Yea, but you're Niall Horan, you can come visit me whenever you want..." he smiled and leaned over to kiss me. Not long after our lips collided I felt my paddle board come out from underneath me and I felt water surround me. I opened my eyes and saw Niall underneath with me, I smiled and swam over to him connecting our lips once more before emerging from under the water. Everyone was laughing and I laughed with them, I got back onto my paddle board and Niall got onto his.
"You are one clumsy girl," Michael laughed.
"Yea, but she's my clumsy girl," Niall laughed. I blushed and he sent a wink my way. We all talked for awhile and we headed back to the dock. The sun was setting and we were all watching it set across the lake.
"Can someone take a photo of Niall and I? I want to make sure every girl knows he's mine." I smiled. Niall-who currently had his arm around me-kissed my head and stood up.
"I will!" Grace volunteered. I handed her my phone and we stood with the lake in the background, and Niall's arm around my shoulder. Grace snapped a couple of photo's and handed me my phone, "My favorite one is the third one," she informed me.
"Thank you," I smiled. I scrolled through the photo's and decided on the third one. I wrote,
"Guess you can say I've got the best boyfriend ever :)" And I tagged Niall in it. I posted it and immediately my phone started buzzing. I looked and saw a bunch of likes pop up on my screen, so fast that I couldn't even read the names.
"You might want to change that," Calum informed me.
"How?" I asked.
"Here." he took my phone and tapped a couple of times and my phone stopped buzzing.
"Thanks." The rest of the night was pretty uneventful, we decided against having a fire and Niall had to leave. I walked him to his car and wrapped my arms around his neck, "I love you so much,"
He smiled and lowered his face so it was right in front of mine, "I love you more," I leaned up closing the gap between us and our lips collided. The kiss was full of passion and moved together in perfect sync. His tongue entered my mouth and we battled for dominance, and he eventually won. I pulled apart and we were both a panting mess,
"Tomorrow, we're going to hang out, just you and me." he told me.
"Where?" I asked curiously.
"I don't know, we'll find out when we get there." he smirked. He kissed me one last time before he left and I went back inside with the biggest smile on my face. Everyone else was still at the dock so I grabbed my guitar and sat down on the couch. I started strumming "Titanium",
"You shoot me down, but I won't fall,
I am titanium." I stopped after a couple more minutes of practicing and put my guitar away. Soon enough everyone came back up and Ashton volunteered to make burgers for dinner. Grace offered to help and grabbed the supplies and they headed to the deck. Calum was teaching Emma one of their songs and I gave him a thumbs up when she wasn't looking. Katie and Michael were outside talking about the "100" show that they're both obsessed with, and I decided to call my mom.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hey mom," I sighed.
"Hey sweetie, how's everything going?"
"Good, good. The girls and I have been practicing and making videos so that's good..." I trailed off.
"Well that's good. I'm sorry but I've gotta get back to my meeting-"
"Oh sorry!" I cut her off. I knew that her meetings were really important to her.
"It's ok, I love you,"
"Love you too." and she hung up. I threw my phone next to me on the bed and heard a knock on the door,
"Come in," I called out. Luke walked in and closed the door behind him, I sat up and gave him a 'what do you want?' look. He sat down next to me and took a deep breath,
"I'm sorry."
"About...?" I asked.
"About... the kiss." he mumbled. I sighed and asked,
"I'm still confused why you did it,"
"Because I was caught up in the moment I guess," he breathed. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Are you fucking serious? The first time I asked you, you told me 'it was to see if I was jealous of Arzaylea'" I yelled, "You thought that I would just agree to be another one of your hook-ups?" Now I was pissed.
"Well everyone knows that you want it," he spat. I yelled,
"I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!" I grabbed my drawstring bag and packed extra clothes in it.
"Where are you going?" he yelled.
"Anywhere away from you!" I stormed out of the room and called out to the girls, "I'm going to Niall's!" I got into my car and started driving.
It'd started raining and it was dark out, making it hard to see. I pulled out my phone and texted Niall,
To: Niall,
Is it ok that I'm coming over? He quickly responded,
From: Niall,
Yep :) see you soon
I smiled at the text and looked up. All of a sudden I saw the right turn sign but it was too late, I drove off the road and kept sliding until I hit a sturdy object. My breathing quickened and I frantically searched for my phone. I felt something trickle down my face and wiped it off and brought it to my face seeing that it was blood. I dialed 911 and the lady on the other line answered,
"911 what's your emergency?"
"My name is Amelia Walker and I've just been in a car accident and there's blood and-" but she cut me off.
"Sweetie you need to calm down, where are you?"
"I am on Manchester-" all of a sudden I got really tired and dizzy, "Road in-" but before I could finish, the world went black.
