Cry's P.O.V
I gently ran my hands over Felix's back, frowning as he kept crying. Why waste time and energy crying over her? Dear God, that woman was not worth it. There was a knock against the door, so I gently untangled myself from him and went to answer the door, digging some cash out of my pocket for who I assumed was the pizza guy. Boy, was I wrong. "You actually wear a mask?" I looked down to see the same girl from before with a friend standing next to her looking both shocked and amazed. "Coolio, dude." Who the fuck says coolio anymore? "Ah, Felix?" She shook the phone in her hands as I realized who it was.
"Oh, yeah. Abby, right?" The girl next to her laughed as she corrected me and gave a slightly irritated expression. "Let me get him. Hey! Pewds! The girl is here with your phone!" Felix didn't move from the couch, making me frown. "Friend," I said, walking over, "you've gotta get up. I know you don't want to, but it'll be just fine. Come on." Felix didn't move a muscle. He stayed in a fetal position instead and just kept crying silently into the fabric of the couch as I sighed. This was going to be a bit harder than I thought. "Uh, just come in." Alex seemed slightly hesitant, but her friend ran in without having to be told twice. I heard the door shut silently as they glanced over to where I was crouching beside Pewds, rubbing his back and trying to get him to get up. "I don't know where he put it at or else I'd just it to you so you guys could go. Sorry."
"No, no. It's more than alright." She paused and whispered something to her friend. "Is he gonna be okay?" I nodded, though I wondered myself. Would he? "I'm guessing the break-up?" Felix stopped crying for a second and stuck his head up at big, looking at her and asking how she knew. "Marzia texted a few long paragraphs to say that she overreacted and what she did was wrong. She's just fine with who she's with, so she hopes you find someone as well." He looked at her and shook a bit.
"I-Is that all?" Alex pulled out the phone and opened the message, tossing it to Felix. His eyes skimmed over the words for a few minutes before he sighed and put the phone away. "She's right." If anyone was wrong, it was Marzia. She cheated on him, for goodness sake! Why was he saying she was right? "I do need to move on." He sniffled a bit before standing up, getting two steps away from the couch before looking like he was going to cry again. "And I don't think I can."
"Of course you can't." Everyone turned to look at Alex. "Not alone, anyways. But you've got him," she pointed at me, "and a bunch of friends who would love to help you. You guys can do it together, okay?" I gave a small smile, looking over to see Felix mirror it. Good. "Alright. This was nice and awkward, so we're gonna be going now."
"Sam, by the way. We're in apartment number 2-"
"Sammie, I'm pretty sure that they don't need to know where we're stay-"
"APARTMENT 226!" Alex grabbed Sam, waving and pulling her out the door. There was a small pause before she walked back in the door left wide open.
"I never grabbed my phone." I laughed and looked over to Felix, who gave a small chuckle and tossed the phone to her. "Thanks." Alex gave a small wave again, shutting the door as she left this time. My eyes stayed on Felix and my lips curved up into a smile as I noticed that he had stopped crying. A good minute of silence and smiling passed by before the actual pizza guy came in a leather jacket, flannel and grey shirt underneath of it with boots and blue jeans. To say he didn't look like the basic pizza delivery boy was a bit of an understatement.
"Hi. It's, uh, $15.85." I handed him the Twenty and said thanks before taking the pizza, surprised that he didn't comment about the mask. "Thanks, man. You have a good one." I nodded and shut the door with my foot, setting the pizza down on the coffee table and going to get plates.
"DO YOU WANT ANYTHING TO DRINK?" I shouted out towards the living room, grabbing out two cups and plates. Felix didn't answer, so I assumed he didn't hear me. "FELIX, YOU WANT SOMETHING TO DRINK MAN?" I turned around fully after grabbing the items out only to see Felix standing there with eyes still puffy, grabbing me into a hug like he did in the airport parking lot. I froze, not sure what to do at first. As the shock faded out, I wrapped my arms around him and gave a slight squeeze, resting my hands on his back. "You okay?" His head moved slightly, but I couldn't quiet tell if he was nodding or not. "Your words, Felix. Use your words."
"I really needed everything back there."
"That doesn't answer my question as to whether or not you're okay."
"I'll. I'll be just...fine." I frowned a bit, not really believing him. A finger hooked underneath my chin, sliding my mask off onto the floor with a loud shatter.
"Felix! My mas-!"
