Namjoon POV

Nothing could ever top Jin's face when I covered him in pie. I try to think of something else funnier, but it does not work. I chuckle to myself at these thoughts and walk up the stairs to get a shower.

I go in my drawers and pull out a navy pair of basketball shorts and a black t-shirt to sleep in. I grimace at my white t-shirt stained with red. I put all my cherry soiled clothes in a plastic store bag all together to bring down to the laundry room when I finish showering.

I let the steady stream of water massage my shoulders as I take a deep breath. I slowly start to try and feel the dried cherry bits off my face, neck, and arms. It was more painful than I thought it would be. The dry sticky substance almost felt like I was waxing myself and I peeled it off. I was terrible. Why couldn't have been something less sticky, like pumpkin pie? A few minutes later I finally got all the gunk off.

After one more quick rinse, I head out of the shower, towel wrapped around my waist. I take one more look in the mirror to assure that I have gotten all the cherry off. Looks like I did, but my face is a little redder than normal. I also see a few pieces of hair that surround my face are a slight shade of pink. I curse Jin under my breath and walk into my room.

One thing I love about this house is that I have my own bathroom, and it's attached to my room. It would be weird walking around the house to get from the bathroom to my room in a towel before because I've always been shy about myself, even though it was just my mom and I, but now I had nothing to worry about.

I walk towards my bed, humming Hard Carry to myself. I reach down for the black t shirt, and catch movement in the corner of my eye. I realize that I see it from my window and freeze. I drop the shirt back on my bed and slowly turn around. It's almost like a mirror image of myself, but it's not me with a towel around my waist-it's Jin.

The window seems to act like a funny mirror because I am looking and Jin and he is looking at me, we both share the same frozen faces of embarrassment and surprise. Right then we both rush to our windows, and close the curtains. I'm breathing heavily and I slowly let myself slide my back down the walk until I am sitting on my floor.

"What is it with this window!?" I ask myself. I make a mental note to never open the curtains again, and bury my face in my hands. My face is still hot as I sit there and just breathe. Then my mind wanders back to Jin.

He did look rather good, he has a decent 6 pack there, goodness knows how with all the food he eats. His hair looked great wet, an almost perfect natural look, as though done on purpose by a professional. He was kinda cute when she blushed too. The burning in my face increased at these thoughts. Did I like Jin? He was funny, cute, kind, there would be no reason not to, but why so fast? The ideas buzzes around in my head as I pull myself up from the floor and walk over to my bed to get dressed.

When I'm done getting dressed I check my phone, which remained bare of any notifications from any of my friends. There was another text from my uncle asking how my first day of school went. I chuckle to myself and replied:

Namjoon: It was more eventful than you would think. I think this would be a story served better over an actual phone conversation xD

Uncle: Sounds interesting... when can I call?

Namjoon: You can call whenever is convenient for you :)

Uncle: I think I give a quick call now, I'm not doing anything atm

Namjoon: Okay!

Just then my phone buzzes and I swipe the screen to answer.

"Hey Uncle!" I say in a happy tone, because I am happy to talk to him.

"Hey! Now what exactly happened at school today? Did you get in trouble or something?!" he asks concerned.

"No... It was great for the most part. I made some great new friends, but I may have injured one of them..." I reply hesitantly trying to keep a straight face. He loved leaving questionable answers to mess with uncle.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN INJURED!? DID YOU GET IN A FIGHT!?" My uncle yells over the phone panicked. I have to pull the phone away and he says this to avoid any hearing issues in my future.

I chuckle and respond, "No, I didn't get into a fight, I promise. My fighting days are over..." I say voice getting quieter with each work. I forgot that my Uncle was sensitive when I kept getting into fights after my dad died. "I guess I should have been more straightforward, everything is okay, I promise." I say assuring him.

"Is he okay? It was an accident?" he asks hesitantly.

"Yeah, exactly it was an accident. We were playing a game batting an orange around the table, and I went to hit it and I guess I hit it too hard... It ended up hitting him right in the eye and knocked him out..."

"Oh, Geez! Is he okay!?" he presses, concerned.

"Yeah! He just has a bad black eye and has to relax for the next few days to make sure he doesn't have any serious head injuries because he hit his head when he fell of the chair when I hit him. Mom and I were actually just at his house, he's our neighbor too." I explain.

"Not only did you knock out this guy who you only just met, but he knows where you live? You are real smart Namjoon." he teases.

"Haha, very funny, but everything is ok, I promise. I gave him the work he missed because we basically have the same schedule, and I will for the next few days with any work he will miss." I assure.

"That's my boy, doing the right thing. Good job." he says happily. "So how are you with the other thing..?" he asks, referring to my dad.

"I'm ok I guess... Look, speaking of school work I have to go do some homework I forgot about." I say, honestly realizing I had homework to do, but also wanting to get out of the conversation.

"Yeah, you go do that Namjoon. Work hard in your studies! Promise me you'll call me this weekend and let me know how the rest of your week went." he makes me promise.

"I will Uncle, I promise. I'll talk to you Sunday." I say with a smile.

"Bye Namjoon, I love you!"

"I love you too Uncle," I say back. "Take care."

"I will." he says, and then I hear a click, then silence.

I sigh and go sit at my newly assembled desk. I find a pencil, take out my papers, and get to work, planning to sleep when I'm done.
