I can hear it, the loud squeaking sound of the shuffling feet of players against the shiny wooden floor of the gym, the sound of the ball getting smacked down with immense force.

I breathed in and when our setter comes to get the ball, I was ready. I jumped as high as I can, my arm stretching to the fullest, while the other one was supporting how I jumped,

Bam!

I looked at my hand for a few short moments. The tingling feeling of pain, yet it made me sparkle in excitement. I balled them into fists while running back to the line.

"Nice Ma!"our setter beamed a smile, but then she panicked when she saw a ball coming in her direction, she immediately set the ball a little bit awkward, but nevertheless, the spiker after me made a dump,

"Pay attention, Kimiko"she grumbled incoherent words under her breath while setting for the other players.

"Go easy on your own sister, Chieko"she rolled her eyes and pointed at the said girl.
"I always treat her like she's someone else so she'll atleast shape up"I nodded slowly, which she responded a curt nod.

"More like a soldier to me"I muttered lowly to myself. Watanabe Chieko, a wing spiker, sister of the official Setter of Karasuno's Women's Volleyball Club, was harsh on her during trainings, while during classes, they would often get along, set aside the few big fights they got into.

After the spiking drills, then came receiving drills. I was able to receive majority of it, thankfully. Like, how coach did her spikes are just random, Kimiko's were usually dumps, then a few hard spikes, soft spikes were also on the list. Chieko's were soft and hard spikes, while mine were the same as Kimiko's. They were all unexpected, just like what a usual match would occur.

Together as a team, we cool down then talked about the lacking skills of our team, which was quite a lot.

"Dismiss!"We all gathered our stuff and the three of us, the two wing spikers, and the setter walked out as best friends.
