Chapter 48

Your pov
The door  flew open, I looked up  there I saw Nate. He's alive?! How?! I don't care, I threw myself at him causing us to fall over. I was a crying mess and I was laughing. The moment was short lived when my hair was pulled. Nate's face drained in color.  I felt cold metal press against my temple, I closed my eyes waiting for the worst. I heard a click, but I felt no pain. Nate grabbed me and held a gun to the woman I called a mother. He pulled the trigger multiple times, he was sure that the problem was over and so was I.  I ran back to the car and grabbed my baby, I hugged Baylie and cried and cried while Nate stood there hugging me.

Nate pov
It's all over now we can go home and live a happy normal life. Well as 'normal' as we are it the perfect life for us. I just hope y/n will be ok when we get home.

Your pov
We made it home and in one piece. Baylie seemed to be fine, Nate and I are still shaken especially me. Well last night was eventful, but that not the only thing that's going to happen, we still have to get home and tell the police. Telling the police what happen wasn't going to be easy. We got home i put Baylie in the crib, and me and Nate went to bed, hoping all of it was a dream.

I woke up in a wet, warm sticky feeling stuff. I leaned up, and saw that Nate was bleeding to death. I tried to stop the bleeding with my shirt, but to no avail. I held him as I watched the life drain out of him, I was uncontrollably crying. I hear the door slam open and the click of a gun's hammer being drawn back. Then bang.

Nate pov
I woke up to y/n crying, I placed an arm around her waist and pulled her close to me. She looked up at me, and buried her face in my chest even more.  I sang and stroked her hair till she went back to sleep. I placed my face in the crook of her neck, listening to her soft breathes, and the feeling of her soft heart beat was enough to put me to sleep.
