It was now 1:23 in the morning, I'm sure Sodapops asleep by now but just to be sure, "Sodapop?" I whisper asked. No answer. "Sodapop." I said in my normal tone. Still no answer, I should be safe now. "Sodapop.... you know I like you a lot. Dang! I just don't see how you don't notice it sometimes though, not one bit. Am I just not good enough? Well either way. I know you can't hear me, but I love you Sodapop Curtis.... just what ever happens. Please don't ever forget about me." I said honestly. I can be honest while he's asleep, but not to his pretty face. I just couldn't do it. I couldn't possibly tell him that I might move away because of my evil twin sister. I just couldn't.
-Sodapops POV.
I was asleep until I heard talking. "Sodapop?" I barely heard it. I didn't answer. "Sodapop." I heard a little louder, it was Skylar. I was about to speak until I heard her talk again. I assume that she thinks I'm asleep. "Sodapop.... you know I like you a lot. Dang! I just don't see how you don't notice it sometimes though, not one bit. Am I just not good enough? Well either way. I know you can't hear me, but I love you Sodapop Curtis.... just what ever happens. Please don't ever forget about me." Oh gosh she.... loves me? And what does she mean by soon? Is she gonna leave?? I wasn't gonna talk now, Or else she would know that I was listening. "Anyways, good night now....I-I love you." She said her voice cracking a little. Then she turned the other way I guess, because the bed was moving with her. I was facing away from her the whole time.
Then I heard her sniffling. I'm so confused, I was going to ask her about it but then darkness consumed me.
