Percy Jackson: Wild Sea (PJO/Avengers)

Ch. 3 Confrontation

     Tony P.O.V

     Fury said he was in a cemetery near Central Park, and Thor said he was dangerous. Pfft yeah right like he could beat Earth's mightiest heroes. We're the Avengers. I mean he's just a teenager. Thor and I were flying above while the rest of the team went on foot in disguises, we were almost to the cemetery. When we arrived Nat and Clint got their things out of the bags and got ready while the rest changed into their suits. Besides the good doctor. When everyone was ready Clint climbed a tree to provide over-watch, I stayed where I was to provide a surprise if we needed, Steve and Natasha were in a bush trying to come up with a plan, Bruce was in the truck only to come out if the 'other guy' was needed. And Thor, oh good Thor he flew down right up to the kid and blew our cover. I sighed well great I thought one less surprise. But then he did something that I'm pretty sure shocked us all, he bowed to the kid. The god of thunder bowed to him! Who is this kid!?

     Percy P.O.V

     I heard one of them land behind me, I felt a familiar aura of power, I smiled faintly at it "Hello Thor how have you been" I said as I stood and faced him. Now I didn't know Thor nor had I ever met him but thanks to Her cousin I knew the Norse gods were real, and his aura kind of felt like Zeus. When I actually faced him I looked around for a second then I realized he was bowing. Also blanching. "Are you okay?" I asked him. He nodded, then I asked him why he was bowing. He boomed "You are a legend friend Perseus" I looked at him weird "I'm a legend? Where?" 

"Well on Asgard of course! You and Lady Annabeth are heroes!" 

"Umm okay," I said wincing at her name "but why were you so shocked and why are you here?" 

Once again his voice rolled over the cemetery "You knew my name friend Perseus, and I am here because the director of S.H.I.E.L.D wants to talk to you." Then he asked the million-dollar question "Friend Perseus where is Lady Annabeth? Legends tell you are inseparable, that you would die for each other!" Thor said in his booming voice. 

"I take it you haven't heard of the last war yet?" I asked him, my shoulders slumping. 

"No, we haven't sadly, I wish to ask you about those. Later though. But my first question?" I took a step away from the headstone so he could read it. It read "Here Lies Annabeth Chase, Lovable Daughter, Faithful Lover, Fearless Warrior, Brilliant Mind and Many More" Thor kinda just sat there before he blew up "Who?" He screamed out.

     Tony P.O.V

     Suddenly Thor shouted, everyone rushed forward only to find him red face staring at a gravestone. He yelled at the kid again "Who dared to do this I shall smite them again and again until they wished they were in Helheim!" 

The kid took a step forward and put his hand on Thor's shoulder. Everyone raised their weapons pointing at the kid as he whispered something in Thor's ear that seemed to help him relax though it did not ease his anger. He whirled around suddenly and walked back to us. 

     Then the kid spoke, "I assume you're with shield too?" Natasha stepped forward "I'm Natalie and yes we want to ask you some questions." The kid's eyes narrowed and he stated "I'll come if you tell me your name." 

Nat tried to look confused but it was hard to hide the shock. She started speaking again "What? I just told you my name" He glared at her. A glare so fierce that we all stepped back. Two steps in Nat's case. 

"Natalie is not your name it is just a handle, I am truly sorry Thor but I will not be accompanying you to Shield" Percy said shaking his head.

Thor nodded as he spoke, "As you wish Percy you may continue grieving, come Avengers we must return to shield." 

I blew up on him "Thor! We have orders to apprehend him no matter what! I don't care what stupid girlfriend he's grieving!"

     By this point I was up in his face but as I said that last sentence his face went from angry to fearful in a split second. I quickly thought what could make a god fearful before a deep menacing voice cut through the silence. 

"What did you just say about her?" It took me a second to realize that it was the kid and when I looked at him his glare was ten times what it was when he was talking to Nat. 

"Friend Percy he meant no disrespect! Please forgive him, He does not know what he says!" Thor cried shaking a little. I couldn't personally see how this kid was scary yes he had an intimidating aura and glare, he had muscles and stuff but I'm Iron Man.

      "Oh come on Thor he's probably just grieving an old girlfriend that he hasn't gotten over yet, he probably wouldn't come back here after today." As I said this Thor went from fearful past terrified to horrified. I looked at the kid he slowly brought out a pen as his glare intensified even more and he said one sentence. "You are going to wish you were dead." Thor cried out "Friend Perseus please, he doesn't know how he offends or of what he speaks!" Then he said something that sent a spike of fear through my being. 

The kid said in a low and menacing voice. "Then I will educate him." with that he flicked the lid off his simple ballpoint pen and it stretched and morphed into a three-foot-long bronze sword. I backed up fearfully as he raised his blade but when he brought it down he drove it into the earth. I expected him to be like 'jokes on you I got you so good' but when he did that I noticed Thor tense then he said one thing that chilled me to the bone on a level nothing had before, he said and I quote "No god can save you now." before he flew off.
