The Phone Rings

Interview time: - Ten in the morning

Although Lachlan was still reminiscencing, on what actually happened five days ago, he had quickly snapped back into reality; that you can sorta noticing, he was still shuddering of the after effect, from receiving such inappropriate questions from those female students, who were aiming most of those questions to him, and no one else. Although he, still can't believe, on how immatue, those students can, while peresenting themselves to be an up and coming reporter to one of the top media outlet. So while he was quietly gazing out of his floor to ceiling window, he was sorter mumbling himself, how on earth did he agree? To finally do this one on one interview with this up and coming reporter, who is writing an exclusive article on him, for the end of year Magazine? For the McPherson University.

In spite of the fact, he owns many skyscrapers throughout the whole of Brisbane, you would most likely find him; working extremely hard in one of his impressive 'Towers' that is situated along 'The Brisbane River.' Despite he was coming to his senses, he was kinder mumbling to his whole self on 'How the flipping Christ? Did I get himself sucked into doing this particular interview? With this unknown reporter, as he truly hopes Professor. William Johnson, from the McPherson University, will live up to his end of the bargain? By sending the right person, up to Brisbane, who he had prolifically asked for. Because if she isn't out there waiting for him, when he finally open his office door, to kindly welcome this trainee reporter into his office, he won't be at all intolerant towards this unqualified reporter, who he hadn't even asked for in the first place. But if she is the one, who has actually turned up, at the accquired time, he'd be please to see her waiting for him, when he fially come out of his office.

Seeing as, he was heavily thinking on this, he was truly hoping, that this up and coming reporter, won't start digging part of his unforseen life, as he has been trying to keep it well and truly hidden for the last thirty something years of his life. Which for him, he not going to be a very happy person in the end, if she actually start digging into his dreaded past.  "I really don't care, on who I may upset in the end, because it may come to a shocked to her, if I informed her, on what I've been through in my whole entire life." He had pause for a second, before saying something completely different, to what he was consciously saying beforehand. "I just hope, it will be Miss. Linda Wilson, who'll be driving up to the Stallion's Media Tower, to do that exclusive interview on me, as I'm truly hoping, she won't be asking me such stupid senseless questions, like those first-year students had done, five days ago," he was quietly thinking to his whole self.

For the purpose of him, over thinking on all of this, he started to think back, to the group interview, when he was somewhat being interrogated by those brainless students. That while he heavily thinking of all of those stupid questions, that literally aimed at him. He couldn't believe in his wildest dreams, that there was this one person; who was sitting in one of the back rows of the university auditorium, who had put her hand up, to asked me a question. But instead of her inquiring something from me, she had stood up to personally apologises to me, for answering such idotic questions, by those immature students. Straight after she had done all of that, she had swung around, to virtually tell all of those first year students off, by instructing them to stop asking me such ill-suited questions and to start asking me some significant questions, about my career, as a CEO, in one of the top newspapers, in southeast Queensland.

'Following on of her doing all of that for me, as I was just realising; on who the actual person was, that she was the very same person who had to save my life six weeks previous, and here she is, standing up and saving my life once again,' he was mentally thinking to his whole self. In much of all this was going through his mind, he still can't believe, on what he and his brothers, had actually witness five days previous. As he was somewhat remembering on what the other senior students were doing at the same time - while this petite person, were giving the entire undergraduate students, a truly good blasting on the select questions they expecting me to give some sort of answer for them. While all the other postgraduate students were quietly supervising their junior counterparts, who acting like complete fools. That the seniors students, must've been feeling rather annoyed, of the way the junior counterparts was acting towards his younger brothers and him. That straight after, that one single student, who has finish telling all of the first year students off, she had received a thunderous of applause, from her fellow classmates, which brought a big smile on Lachlan's face.

In all the while he still smiling to himself, as he was really wondering? 'On where does this petite student, who has got this get up attitude from? Of first apologising to me,' before telling every undergraduate student off, of prior to sitting herself back down on her seast again, to try to calm herself down, of prior of the whole group interview, coming to an instant close. In much of all he was heavily thinking on that, he was reflecting on what truly upset her? Was it just before, the whole group interviewed, had even started, that he and his brothers were quietly noticing a male student, who had deliberately walked into the auditorium, of trying to find someone in the whole class, that is full of professors and students. That straight after that male student, who had rudely walked into the conference hall, he was going to walk from rows to rows, of trying locate this certain someone, who was in that actual assembly room.

Following on, of that male student, who had rudely walked into that massive hall, one of the professors, have asked him to leave the premieses, as he not one the 'Bachelor of Journalism,' students, who is currently doing that particular course. Seeing as many of the females stuednts, who were looking at this particular male student, were feeling a sigh relief, as they didn't want nothing to do with him, which of course, had brought a big smile to his face. But in the midst of him over thinking on all of that, he had quickly snap back into reality, as he was really hoping that this so called reporter, who is currently driving up from the Gold Coast, to do this interview on him. He truly hoping she won't start digging up, some small details from his past, that she may stumble upon some precarious facts, that he would like to be keep it, well and truly hidden from her or anyone who is interviewing him.

****

Dispite the fact, he is one of the most distinguished men, in Southeast Queensland, he can also be rather tenacious towards reporters, who don't have the flipping balls or guts to personally inquire a one on one interview with him, little alone a postgraduate student? "Hmm! Maybe I should ride this one out, to see where it  actually goes? As this might be interesting interview for me to get through, of receiving some tedious questions from her." He was quietly thinking to his whole self, in much of all of him over thinking on this, he was still complicating of cancelling the whole meet and greet with this so called up and coming reporter.

So while he was still staring out of his window, he had decided to quickly look down at his watch, to personally realised it not even ten in the morning as yet, so he had quickly recognize it way too late to cancel now, as she probably already on her way up to Brisbane. So he started to say a few more things to his whole self. "Hmm! I just hope the majority of the questions won't be too personal towards me, because I do not like anyone invading my privacy. But then again, this unknown reporter might just surprise me by asking me, such brilliant questions, so let's see what happens? When she finally arrives." He was quiet for a bit, before he started to realised that the McPherson University, had purely promised him and his whole media company a bit of free advertisement in their official end of year magazine.

In view of everying, that had happened back down on the Gold Coast over a week ago, he was delighted to give the 'Media Centre' an significant large grant, for the university, that will go towards the academic studies for the up and coming students, as he truly hope many people will apply, to do that particular course, as it will help them to advance in their chosen career. That he had promised the university, he will return to the McPherson's University, at the end of the year graduation, so he able to present each senior student, with their diplomas as it might be good PR for him, to do this sort of interview for the final magazine,' he was silently thinking to his whole self, as he hoping in today's interview, it will go extremely well for the pair of them.

So as he had quickly snapped back to the here and now regime, he was still glancing out of his window, as his subconscious started to speak to him 'Gee Lachlan what are you doing to yourself here? Because here you are, the most eligible bachelor in southeast Queensland, and you have got an extreme number of gorgeous women, who are virtually chasing you all over the place. To come of think about it, you have given them some pleasurable moments; in that dark room of yours. And here you are wondering, on what you're actually missing? To tell you the truth I can't give you any hints here, as you've got to work that one out for yourself. So come on Locke, think real hard, on what you really want in life? Is it the companionship? Or is it just the sex that you're  truly missing? Okay if it one of those two? Have good think about, of trying to ride this interview out, because you may never know? On where it might lead up to?' commented his subconscious.
