The Bittersweet Darkness

The bittersweet darkness is all around her.
Shivering in fear,
As she cries out in frustration.
There is destruction all around her.
There is pain and hatred within her head,
As she curses out unspeakable things,
At the monster with white hair.

One year has passed,
Yet he is still in her head.
She cannot get him out of her head.
She smiles as the crimson liquid flows down her arm,
As she cuts the rainbow of her lifeline on her skin,
Her face twists into a sad smile.

After all, who would miss her,
If she left this world for eternity?
Surely no one.
And then she realizes that
Others will wonder where she has gone.
Had she gone into an eternal hide and seek?
They must be worried about her!
A river of tears flow down her face,
Remembering all the ones she loves.
