The Day I Die... Well, Nearly

I looked at Bellatrix and Lucious. Bellatrix glared at me, but there was a hint of wickedness behind the look. "So you have a proem on me, do you, Dakota?" she teased. She and Lucious whipped out their wands. I backed away from them, my hair turning blue with a hint of white.
"Aww, she's scared of us!" she exclaimed, and held out her wand. "Silencio" she said, and I suddenly couldn't speak. Lucious smirked at me, and aimed his wand at me.
"Crucio" he said meaningfully, and pain washed over me like lava. I screamed and fell to the ground, though my screams were soundless. This continued until he aimed his wand away from me. I breathed deeply, trying to recover.
But as soon as it stopped, it began again.
After another minute, they stopped, and Bellatrix let me talk again. "What do you have to say now? Huh?!" she continued to taunt. I continued to pant as tears streamed down my face. "Just kill me. Please, just kill me already" I whimper.
They clearly weren't expecting me to say this, because they held looks of confusion and slight worry. They obviously didn't actually want to kill. So, instead of responding, they ran for it.
Slowly, I felt darkness overtake me.

Sirius Black POV (Whoop Whoop!!!)

I watched from the Gryffindor table as Dakota exited the Great Hall, with Bellatrix and Lucious suspiciously following her a few moments afterward.
I turned to Remus, James and Peter. "I don't have a good feeling about that" I said, knowing that they saw the two Slytherins follow Dakota.
I stood up, and went to follow Bellatrix and Lucious, but I didn't know where they went. I saw that James and Remus followed me, but Peter was probably still eating.
"Where do you think they went?" asked James as he adjusted his glasses.
Remus shrugged.
"Dakota said she went to meet up with someone. Who else is she friends with that weren't in the Great Hall?" he said, and I nodded in agreement. "What are you there up to? Going to pick on that poor girl again?" someone asked from behind us, and there stood out only friend that's a girl, Jessica.
She has always been like a mom to me, James, and Peter, while Remus was more like the responsible older brother. But Remus told us before school let out that he had a crush on her. Honestly, I think it'll work.
Anyways, we looked at Jessica as she crossed her arms at us.
"Well? Where are you going?" she asked. "We're following Dakota because we saw Bellatrix and Lucious follow her out of the Great Hall. We just wanted to make sure she was okay" said Remus.
Jessica turned to me. "You liiiike her, you liiiike her!!" she sang in my face. "No I don't! I just pity her! You don't know what she went through" I snapped. But then it got me.
I did like her a little bit. I mean, after finding out what she went through, yet has never had a mental break down in public makes her a true Gryffindor. She's strong.
"What did she go through?" asked Jessica.
I actually forgot she was there for a minute. "Her parents kicked her out of their house when she found out she was a witch. But yesterday, they showed up to take her back so that is reduced their taxes so they could have more money to spend on boos" I ranted angrily. Her eyes widened, only to narrow at all of us.
"You knew this, yet you bullied her!?!? What is wrong with you!?!?" she yelled. "But we just found out ourselves!" exclaimed James. That's when we heard footsteps. We all turned around to see Bellatrix and Lucious speed walking away from the direction of the girls bathroom.
They looked at us, smirked and Drew out their wands.
"Hello, Blood traitors" said Bellatrix in a sinister way.
Lucious smirked and aimed his wand straight at Jessica's cheat. Remus got in front of her in a protective stance. Lucious laughed. "Protective, are we?" he teased him, before continuing. "It's a shame you weren't there to protect Dakota."
They lowered their wands and ran away with laughs echoing the corridor.
Jessica rushed to the girls bathroom, to see what they meant when they said that we should have been there to protect Dakota.
We waited before following to make sure no one saw us. As we entered, Jessica screamed. Remus rushed to her, and gasped before collapsing on his knees beside a body. Dakota's body.
I gasped as well, and knelt down to check her pulse. I sighed in relief when I felt one, though it was weak. James just stood to the side in shock. He turned to us, looking as though he was going to cry. "What have we done?" he whispered.
"What do you mean, 'we'? We didn't do this to her, Bellatrix and Lucious did" I said to him as I picked up Dakota. It was scary how little she weighed.
"I wasn't talking about that. Look at her arms" he said simply. Remus and I furrowed our eyebrows, but did as James said.
What I saw made me want to cry. In fact, a few tears slipped down my face.
Cuts littered all over her wrists and arms. I looked at her face, and I was shocked at her white hair and how pale she was. It looked unnatural. I looked at Remus, and he was holding Jessica as tears came slowly down her face.
"She's been doing it for a few years now" said a pouty, whiney voice from the bathroom stall. We turned to see Moaning Mertle. "She comes in and cuts whenever she feels worthless it has a had a really bad day. Like yesterday. She came to meet me after the feast, and those two brats followed her and tortured her after using the silencing spell. When they let her talk, she begged them to kill her, but they left and she passed out" she saif, before going into her toilet. As she said this, my grip on her tightened.
"We need to take her to the Hospital Wing" said Jessica quietly. I nodded, and we walked out of the bathroom. We rushed over to the Hospital Wing, but James decided to go get Lily to let her know where her friend was.
We enter the hospital, and called for Madam Pomfret. She came in, and gasped. "Put her on a bed" she said. I did so, and we watched as she got different potions. I barely acknowledged when James, Lily, Snape, and a Hufflepuff girl came in to see her. All I could focus on was the girl I had a little crush on.
