Like I said in my Darth Maul book, I will start using music in all chapters from here. I will put it in the first few chapters as well, since this book is probably my favorite one to write so far. Sato Kyja (the clones' creator) will show up soon. I'm working on making my book fit my description better. I'll say it in this book, too. I will be putting music in each chapter so it sets the tone of the chapter. If the book changes the pace of action quickly, I might put a marker where to start the music so it doesn't seem tense in a relaxing scene. That's all. Get to reading.

The drunks in the bar were disgusting people. It was the only job he could get, though. After the incident a year ago, Simple was a wreck. He loved his brother, and to see him stave off the renegade clones instead of coming with them drove him to the brink of insanity. Being a clone was hard. Many people had seen his face before he found this job, so he was constantly abused by the citizens he once saught to protect. He still did. He had to reinvent his armor since it was well known and feared. His once grey armor was now completely black and red.

The whereabouts of his siblings who escaped with him were unknown. Just then, 5 clones entered into the room and started to ask the bar patrons where Simple and his comrades were. They had been fugitives since that night. And it was falsely accused that Spectre butchered the clone. I wonder if Spectre is okay? I hope they treat him fairly for what he hasn't done.

2 of the 5 walk up to Simple notice his familiar stature and face. "You are under arrest. Make it easy on us and come willingly," the commander ordered. Simple was about to make a break for it when two bounty hunters burst through the windows! The second clone shouted, "Get down!" Simple complied and ducked to the floor. The bounty hunters then whipped out their weapons and started firing.

When the firing stopped, Simple peaked his head out and raised his blaster pistol in case the hunters were still hostile. What he saw surprised him. All 5 of the clones were convulsing on tables, floors, and even 1 on the counter. The drunks and other patrons vacated the bar so quickly, there was a hole in the back door and half of the tables where knocked over or shattered.

Apparently, the hunters only stunned the clones. Right before one of them glanced his way, he ducked back down and pulled out a couple of his stun knives. He then concealed them in his sleeves and put his blaster pistol in his holster. Once the hunters turned around, he broke for the door. "HEY!" 1 of the hunters shouted. Simple heard the sound of padded footsteps behind him as he leaped from the balcony and onto the next sublevel of the Undercity.

Right before he hit the ground, he rolled to break his landing. His mask was just enough to hide his face. Those two hunters sounded familiar, but he couldn't place where he could've heard them. Maybe they were regulars to his bar? He pushed the thought to the back of his mind as he remembered he needed to run.

He reached a dead end and looked behind him just in time to see the hunters jetpack down. "You've put up a fight. But you won't get out that easy, Simple," the 1st hunter mocked. "Why are you after me? How do you know my name?" he asked. The bounty hunters looked at each other and then looked back where Simple had been a moment before. Now he was scrambling up the wall and over to the other side.

Hopping from one job to the next was not easy when you had bounty hunters and clones after you the whole time. As he rushed past citizens, the yelled at him for shoving them out of the way. They wouldn't understand how hard it was being on the run and helping them at the same time. As he rounded the corner, 1 of the hunters was standing there. When he turned around, the other was there. He was trapped.

Doing the only thing he could, he threw a punch at the 2nd hunter and hit him square in the face. His helmet absorbed most of the blow, but it still got through. Simple then heard approaching footsteps and did a roundhose kick straight to the side. The blow caused the hunter to go flying into the balcony wall. He almost fell off. The 1st hunter was recovering from his blow to the face and grabbed the unaware Simple. In retaliation, he gave the hunter a swift headbutt to the face and caused him to let go. Simple then leaped onto the him and started to mercilessly beat him as a crowd gathered.

The 2nd bounty hunter got fed up and threw Simple off the ledge where he would hit the next level. He landed on his back and groaned in pain. Through the ringing of his ears, he heard the loud sound of 2 jetpacks land on either side of him and grab him by his arms. They then proceeded to drag him back to his bar, where the troopers were still unconscious.

Once they arrived, Simple was woken up a kick to the side. "Why back here?" Simple asked, trying to play it cool, as Jester used to say. The hunters felt they no longer needed to hide their faces as the windows were shut. The two looked almost identical in everything except hair. The 1st hunter had pure green hair and the 2nd had blue hair with red tips. "Well, well, well. Look what the Nexu dragged in. I think my helmet is broken. Thanks. Come back after a year and this is the thanks I get?" said the green haired hunter. Simple then said, "Do I know you from somewhere? Have you ever been to Rakata Prime?" The green haired man replied with, "Once or twice." "What is your preferred weapon type?" Simple asked. "Sniper rifles, wrist guns. Pretty much anything that I can use to end the battle before it begins. Why?" he said. Simple then suddenly engulfed him in a huge hug. "Jester? Is that you?" Simple asked. "In the flesh," Jester replied.

"What, no hugs for me?" asked Killjoy. Jester just laughed and started to get Simple up to speed. "Jester and I decided that we will make a living bounty hunting. The pay is good, and there are several people in the galaxy who deserve it. It also allows us to carry our weapons with us. As for our ship, we found a destroyed cruiser on a marshy planet, forgot the name. We checked inside and it was filled with some form of bats that feed off of energy. After we cleared 'em out, Jester and I started to repair the thing and found out its history. It is called the Gravestone. Back in the days of the Old Republic and the Sith Empire, there was a third faction calling themselves the Eternal Empire. Their fleet was nearly invincible until a Jedi showed up and destroyed the operation. He brought the brother back to the light and killed his sister, who refused to turn. After that, the Gravestone was put down where it could rest in peace. This ship had and still does have an Omnicannon which could destroy the fleet. The beam jumps from ship to ship. The hangar is huge, as well. Finally, there is a dark and mysterious obelisk in the center of the ship. I'm guessing that is the power source, but I still don't like it."

Simple then noticed the bodies were gone. "Where did you dump them?" he asked, fearful for his job. Jester replied, "Don't worry. They're sleeping with the fishes." "What?!" Simple yelled, half mad, half surprised. Jester then said, "Yeah, they are at the aquarium." Simple simply (mind the pun) grabbed an unbroken chair and smashed it over his head. "I suppose I deserve that," he said through gritted teeth. Simple then asked, out of curiosity, "Have either of you seen Spectre in the past year?" The room then got silent as Jester and Killjoy looked to the floor. "We haven't seen him since..." Killjoy trailed off. Simple then leaped over his counter and pulled out a datapad. "What are you doing?" Killjoy questioned. Simple didn't answer as he researched. "He is here on Coruscant!" Simple suddenly yelled. "He is in the official Republic Detention Center." Simple then said sullenly. Jester then burst into the conversation and yelled, "Let's go free him. We can put on our armor and walk up to the door. If they don't let him out, then we leave, formulate a plan and go back to break him out."

They then grabbed their stuff, put on their armor, Simple put on his old jetpack, and burst out the door and flew away.
