Chapter 4- Back to Normal

I sat in the car as we drove home. When we arrived there was a party going on in my home.  The banner at the front door read 'welcome home Sadie!' There were tons of faces. Some familiar, some I have never seen before but, they all seemed to know me.  They all came up and hugging me and saying how worried the each had been about me. I never knew I had made such an impact on so many peoples lives. I saw my brother Nate, He had retty much dubbled in size since the last time I saw him. I stayed and chatted for a bit but, I was tired I  wondered up to my bed room. It was mostly the same as I had remembered it to be. Some of the furniture had been moved around. Pictures mostly of   Calum and I  were scatted across the room. There was one where I was on his back and we were wearing matching jumpers that had spongbob on them. We both had the worlds biggest smiles on our faces.

"That was a such fun day." Calum said standing behind me. I wondered how long he had been standing there. 

"What happened? What is the story behind this?" I asked him.

"Well, one time we were just sitting at home watching TV and there was nothing on so we ended up watching like six straight hours of spongebob. I remember you laughing so hard. Just hearing your laugh would make me laugh." He smiled but, it soon faded." So, anyway a few days later we were walking around in the shops and we found these."He motioned towards the jumpers." You just had to buy them. And the when we got home you made Mikey take like a thousand pictures of us in them. " He smiled at the memory. I did too, because it did sound just like something that I would do. 

"What about this one?"  I asked. Holding up another picture of us. In this one we were at the beach. I was sticking my tongue out at the camera and Calum was behind me flexing his muscles. I studied his tattoo. I must admit he had an amazing body. He chuckled just looking at the photo. 

"We had only been dating for about a month here. You had wanted to go to the beach so bad. So I finally took you. And you were also really proud because I taught you how to surf. It took you like a million tries to stand up but, you got it. And for the ten seconds you were riding the wave the smile on your face was huge."He looked down and played with his hands for a minuet or two.  "That was the moment I knew I had fallen in love with you."  

Looking at Calum made me want to love him. I really wish I could have remember all the the stories he told me today. He got up to leave. "Calum, wait. I have one last thing to ask you." 

"Okay?" He paused.

"Do you know how I got my tongue priced?" I have always wanted to get my tongue priced but, I have been to afraid to get it. 

"Yes, It was on our third date. We were walking home from a party. Well, I was walking, you were more stumbling. You had a little to much to drink that night. And as we walked past a tattoo shop. And you were like 'I'm gonna go in there and pierce my tongue' And you did." He told me. I could feel my face blushing with embarrassment. "You were so cute. Right before he pierced your tongue you held on tight to my hand. Your palms were all sweaty and you were so nervous. But, after it was all over you were so happy. It did make kissing you a little hard at fist but, we got used to it." And with that he slowly got up and left the room. 

A while later the music finally stoped and the sounds of laughter from down stairs was hushed. Everyone must have gone home. Back to their lives. I understood how I fell for Calum. We must have been crazy in love.  I feel like we were the kind of couple that everyone wished was there own. And tonight I felt myself falling for him . A boy who knows all about me yet, I know nothing about him. Not even his middle name. 

I layed in bed trying to fall asleep for ages. Finally I got up and went to my closet and I found the spongebob jumper. I put it on. It was a little big for me but, it fit warm and snugly. I layed back in bed. And that night I dreamt of the stories Calum had told me.
