"Connor, where are you going?" I asked quickly as he turned the door knob.
He looked at me and his face lightened up to a slight smile and his normal soft look. "Don't worry, I'll be back." he replied.
God, how I loved that kid. Part of me wanted to yell: 'don't leave me! I heard what you said and I love you too!' I pushed away those thoughts. Not me. Not in a million years. I turned back to Lily and Gigi who were staring at me blankly.
"What?" I turned my head a bit.
"Nothing, nothing." Lily smirked.
"Nothing? Puh-lease!! Honey, we just found out something and you are gonna be so happy and I really think-" Lily put her hand over Gigi's mouth.
"I might as well tell you instead of big mouth over here." Lily pointed to Gigi. Gigi did an offended look. "Connor just told us that he liked you. Correction, loves you." Those words rang in my head. Loves you. Loves you. Loves you. "Umm okay sure. He's way outta my league!" I said sarcastically.
"Uhh, no way! If anything, you're out of his league." Gigi said.
"Guys I think I should talk to him, where did he go?" I asked.
"No idea." Lily said. "Probably ot the park. I've seen him there before at night, he told me he likes to go there when he needs to think."
"Maybe I should just stay here, Connor probably doesn't want to talk." I said.
"Nooo!! You have to go!" She said pushing me out the door. "Go, go, go!"
Now I just had to go. No backing out now.
