Thank you!" I finally said. "Thank you so much." Before I thought about what I was doing I hugged him. He hugged me back. I pulled away feeling slightly awkward. "So do you want my number?" Colton asked startling me. "Like to discuss study times?" "Yea!" I unlocked my phone then I gave it to him. He put his number in it and gave it back. Jewels was looking from Colton back to me. She had a huge smile on her face. I just rolled my eyes and started playing on my phone. I texted Colton. 'Hey! It's Grace!' I looked up and over at him. He looked startled when his phone started to go off. Jewels and I both started laughing. He opened his phone and looked at the text. "Really Grace?" He gave me a look making me laugh harder. "Yup!" I smiled and looked back down at my phone. I saw that Colton was typing. 'Well now I can annoy you whenever I want!' "Oh God!" I said aloud. "I shouldn't have done this!" Colton laughed and so did I. Then the bell rang signalling the end of lunch. I quickly jumped up and waited for everyone else. I grabbed my lunch box and so did everyone else. "How many more classes do we have?" Colton asked standing up. "Just three more. But one is study hall," I said starting to walk out of the cafeteria. "Yay! Study hall!" Jewels said as she ran up to me. "I get to see you!" I just laughed and looked behind me. Colton was just staring off into space. "Hey Colton! You coming?" I snapped Colton out of his trance. He jumped and ran up to us. "Yea, sorry!" His hand brushed against mine. I moved away slightly so we weren't standing so close. "Time for class!" We walked out of the cafeteria and went to our lockers. Jewels' locker was far from mine so we said goodbye. Then Colton and I went to our lockers. I grabbed my stuff and Colton grabbed his. Then we were off to class.

Finally it was study hall. I was packing my bag and Colton was packing his. We both finished at pretty much the same time. Jewels ran up to us. "Time to go to the library!" Jewels was extremely excited. "Calm down!" I giggled and started walking off to the library. Colton followed. I was being dragged down the hallway. I grabbed Colton's hand and pulled him down the hallway with us. We got to the library and walked inside. We sat down at a small round table in the very back of the library. The teachers barely came back here. We set our stuff down and sat down. We all started talking. Jewels asked Colton about his day and he started talking about that. "Hey guys," I said after Colton finished a sentence about math class. "I'm going to go see if there's anything good in the fiction section." I stood up and walked through the aisles of books. Finally I saw one that intrigued me. I was about to pick it up when I was pushed to the floor. I knew it was probably Noah. I quickly stood up and turned around. Sure enough there Noah was. Just looming over me. He smiled at me and I knew I was dead. "Hey!" I heard a familiar voice yell. I turned around and there stood Brandon. He was a strawberry blonde with brown eyes. He had a twin and other than their clothes the only way you could tell them apart by was their eyes. Jackson, Brandon's twin, had electric blue eyes.

I saw Jackson poke his head out from behind Brandon's right shoulder. "What?!" Noah sounded pissed off. I started to run away but Noah grabbed the back of my shirt. He pulled me so I was right in front of him. I looked at Brandon and Jackson with pleading eyes. "Leave her alone!" Brandon stepped forwards. Jackson followed but didn't move past Brandon. He seemed scared. "Or what?" Noah asked pulling me closer to him. I had enough. I might get killed for this but I didn't care at the moment. I lifted my foot up and kicked him hard in the nuts. He collapsed and let go of me. I ran over to the twins. "Thanks for distracting him." I smiled and looked backwards. Noah was laying on the ground groaning in pain. Then Colton rounded the corner of the aisle. "What happened?" He ran right past Noah and straight to me. "Well Noah tried to do something to me but Brandon distracted him." I looked back at the twins. "Well you're the one that kicked him in the nuts!" He held his hand up for me to high five. "Great job!" I high fived him and laughed. "We should probably move considering he's still right there," Jackson said pointing at Noah. "Yea we should." I started walking but quickly stopped. "Do you wanna sit with us?" I asked the twins. Their faces lit up. "Sure!" they both said in unison. Colton's face fell and his eyes clouded over. I didn't think to much about it. We all started walking back over to the table. We got there and all sat down. Colton sat right next to me. My mind rushed back to when his eyes had gotten cloudy. But I figured it was just because Noah was back.
