"ThatifIhurtyou,he'sgonnacutoffmyAlphaheadandburnitinhell." Damonchuckles ----- Thenextday- "So, Kelsey.. We kinda got off to an awkward start yesterday." I tell her as I walk with her towards the forest.
"I agree, we honestly didn't know what to talk about." She laughs
"So.. I don't have anything in mind at the moment to talk about." I laugh and look at her ".... Hmmm... Well.. Uh.. Who was your best friend back in your old pack?" She asks
"Amanda. She actually reminds me of you. Funny, crazy, very daring." Speaking of Amanda, we haven't talked in 2 days. Damn I miss her
"Really? That's new." She laughs
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I'm usually the lame one when it comes to people." She makes a face
I nod, continuing walking.
"Can I ask you a question?" I ask
"Sure,"
"Is there something between you and Alex.. I kinda got a feeling there was. I mean not that it's a bad thing." I smile
She shrugs. "There was, but that was a long time ago.. Now it's just completely awkward when it comes to seeing him."
"There was? You mean there's nothing between you now?"
She shakes her head, looking down
"We were young and dumb... Thought we were mates until I couldn't take it anymore, I broke it off with him." She sighed
"You thought you were mates? What do you mean?" I ask as I stopped walking.
She stopped too and turned around to look at me, then sat on the ground. I sat down in front of her
"We fell in love, thought we were mates, since we didn't quite know what it was like to have a mate, we thought it was love.. He honestly hasn't been very talkative or barely looks at me.. It seems like I don't know him anymore." She sighs
I give her a small smile, "I'm pretty sure he's still the same old goof he was then." I stand up and turn towards to way back.
I start walking- "wait-" Kelsey calls, I stop
"Thank you, Cyra." She says. I only nod in return and continue walking back.
