Jules's P.O.V.
"Life's like a road that you travel on... sometimes you turn your back to the wind🎵." I sang in a quiet whisper, with the cool wind from the window blowing in my face to keep me from being carsick. I looked up from my fanfic on my phone and stared out into the vast world outside my window. I've always been with everyone else trying to blend in, never really trying to stand out. Always in with, and kept in with the crowd.

Suddenly, I got a text from one of my online friends on Skype:

Lane:
Hey
Oml seriously Lane, I've been trying to text you forever and you never answer. But this time you decide to go and randomly text me >:P buttface.

Jules:
Hwello, buttface 😒

Lane:
"Buttface"? The only buttface I know is a certain jerk that decides to randomly insult you and make you feel bad!

Jules:
... :3 jk u not always a buttface but u can be annoying
Lol, his reactions are so weird, like why would he be saying that the only buttface was....Josh.......

Lane:
Awwww thanks love, wait whut 😑

Jules:
Well I'm gonna have to get out and show some of my fam a trailer house thing so boaaiiiii!! P.S.  I not your love, boai! 😁
Hehe, sometimes he's so cu- HOLY CRAP NO! That 'thing' that I call Lane is not 'cute' how could I even describe him that way?! A much better way to describe is super hot and...... I'm dead, just dead, how could I think this?! I haven't even met him in real life!

Anyways, after that convo, I was on my phone reading the fanfic hoping to get there leave quickly and then come back home so I can relax, read fanfics, eat ice-cream, and sleeeeeeeeppp! But of course that didn't happen😑.

My dad shouted to me and my cousin from the front seat with my uncle, "We're here! Now get out, 'cause no one's here to let us in!" I sighed as my too optimistic father practically leaped out of the car, only to groan in pain forgetting he was older now.
"So where's the place?" My little cousin Nick asked as we walked past the gate, " Is it far in? Is it close to the beach or any food?"

My sister and I had already seen the place, so she stayed behind to watch our nana. But I was stuck with an annoying cousin, optimistic father, and a quiet uncle.

"Did you forget the keys?" Uncle Mike questioned my father and then they both sighed and laughed a bit. Since we were faster, Nick and I ran back 'n forth from the car to them to ask if we found the keys but eventually found them and headed towards the trailer house.

Author~Chan here! Thank so much for reading this, it was probably shorter and it's not really a fanfic or romance or anything. But I hope you enjoyed this 465 words chapter! See you next time!

P.S. bold words are usually p.o.v.s, author notes, or the name of who is texting, and italics are the person's thoughts.😁
