The pear tree uplifted the heart
Brushed back the suffering and weeping
Because women sobbed
While sleeping
The sprout of new life was lost
And women knew not the cost
The long swaying arms shelter her soul
While she mourns the loss of a foal
Though the pear tree will wither and die,
when it hears a new child's cry
Its job was not pointless
It wiped her tears dry
