TODAY isn't special for me. I'm alone. The whole mansion is too quiet. I can feel loneliness which makes me very sad. Kahit isang taon na ang lumipas nung ako'y tuluyang namuhay magisa dito sa bahay na puro katulong at gwardya ang kasama ay di parin ako sanay. Mahirap magisa. Yung tipong kulang ka sa pagkalinga ng isang tao sa iyo.
I didn't bother to have relationships or whatsoever because I don't want to get hurt. Many guys are drooling over me but i know that it is because of the fame and money that I have.
Paano kaya kung hindi ako naging isang YU. Is there anyone who could notice me in such way that they won't need a rich woman to have? For me, that's very rare .
Nasa malalim na pagiisip ako nang kumatok ang isa sa mga katulong sa mansion.
"Señorita Cyrah. Your grandmother, Señora Mira is down stairs with someone " Sabi ng isang katulong habang nasa labas ng aking silid na di ko man lang pinagbuksan.
" Mamita is here? Tell her wait me there. I'll just prepare myself." Sabi ko.
Tuluyan ring umalis ang katulong.
Why would Mamita be here? She won't visit without purpose. Is she here to talk about my duties. Why can't she understand that I want to be a DOCTOR! Mamita's making decisions for me again. Hays.
WHEN I WAS SETTLED. I walk towards the spiral stairs to reach Mamita in the living room. As I reached her . she's with a woman. She's pretty even she looks near 30s.
" Mornin' Mamita! I missed you so much." I said and kissed her in her cheeks.
Mamita is also closed to me but the thought of me being a doctor, not a business woman made her not like it. And I know that Mamita persuaded me many times to be in business world but I totally refuse.
" Goodmorning too little Cyrah. " she said showing her genuine and beautiful smiles that proves she's more beautiful in her young age.
" I'm glad you're here Mamita! By the way, what brought you here." I said to her.
" Well, Cyrah. I'm here for you. We have to talk for some important matters." She said seriously and I could feel that it is all about the profession that I wanted. " oh. This is Jenneth Ramos, a family-friend of ours. Her family owned the Ramos group of companies." Mamita added .
"Oh .. I see" i said and continued greeting tita Jenneth." pleasure to meet you Mrs. Ramos. I heard a lot about you and your families background about business. " I complimented her and smiled sweetly.
"Pleasures too, Ms. Cyrah Yu. You are really beautiful as what I heard from others." sabi niya habang nakangiti at mas lalo akong humanga sa taglay nitong ganda. She looks more younger but as far as I knew. She's 51.
WE TALKED a lot with Mamita and tita Jenneth. Until Tita Jenneth decided to leave because of an urgent appointment she needed to attend .
WHEN TITA JENNETH was out of my sight. Mamita faced me seriously .
" Cyrah , we need to talk." Sabi niya.
" Mamita, is it all about the profession that I want? If that is what you are trying to talk about then, I didn't changed my mind. I want to be a DOCTOR." sabi ko sa kanya pero may paggalang parin.
" Okay fine. I admit. I want to talk about it. But as what I just heard kailangan ko magdeal sa iyo." Sabi ni Mamita na kinatataka ko.
" what do you mean a deal?" I asked
" okay. Well , i want to have a deal with you my dear granddaughter. " she paused and took a deep breath." If you really want to be a Doctor then, I'll grant that." She said.
"Thanks Mami---" she cut me off.
"But---- you will be arranged marriage sa anak ni mrs Ramos." She said which made my jaw dropped.
"A-are you kidding Mamita? That's insane!" I exclaimed.
" That is why I'll have a deal with you. If you want to be a Doctor then go ahead but you'll be arranged marriage. But--- if you'll follow Yu's business path then, I will cancel the arrangement." She said which challenged me.
" Mamita! It is a hard decision for me.! This is unfair!" I am not happy with the deal Mamita wants. It is stressing me. Damnit!
" Cyrah.. It's not unfair. You know that you're my favorite granddaughter right? I don't want our relatives treat you like different. This is for your own good. We will both benefit for it actually. If you really choose to be a Doctor. Don't worry about you're soon-to-be-husband because he is actually perfect." Mamita explained .
Fu*k this! This is making me insane. But I want to reach my dreams. I want to prove something what I am capable of. Ugh! Curse it all! But I don't have any choice. I am going to choose what I want.
I will plan this very well but I know Mamita's attitude. She hate person who makes her wait. Tsk. This is Bullsh*t!
" ok fine! I choosed to be a Doctor" i said without doubting anymore.
I just want to prove something. I will plan this very well. I don't care what will happened when I am married with that son of Mrs. Ramos.
I will request to be married in states so that I will have my divorce with the guy after 1 year. I know he doesn't want to be in this decision . I don't have any choice and I should put myself at risk to fulfill what I want
