Diamond blue eyes
Full of tidal waves and salt
This tsunami lasted hours
It soaked my porcelain skin surface
Night swallowed it all up
Now day greets the sky
And thus it begins
Realize these eyelids are open
They did not stay closed as I asked
Begin to suppress and ignore
Like each problem isn't biting at my ankles
Pretend to not hate my reflection
Pretend I can function
And of course
I cannot forget to,
Paint on a smile
