I didn't hesitate to bring her closer, placing my hands on her waist as she placed hers on my face. My heart sped up abnormally, my lungs deprived of oxygen. The kiss was unexpected, yet I can feel the desperation from both our lips fighting for dominance. Her lips were smooth and plump, which I imagined it would feel. Finally, after how many years of dreaming, I'm finally kissing her.

We both pulled back and stared at her wide eyes. I was suddenly worried by my actions, or her actions as she initiated it. Did she regret it? She shouldn't have, but what if she did? I don't want to make her think that it was a spur of the moment thing. I wanted this, and so did she as I could feel the desperation she gave off from her lips when I kissed her.

"Acacia?" I asked her tentatively, my arms making its way to her arms. "Acacia, say something," I pleaded.

Quickly, her arms enveloped me, her head on my chest and arms around my waist. I sighed in relief before hugging her back, placing my chin on the top of her head, my eyes closed.

"I love you," I whispered. "You know that, right?"

"I know," I heard her whisper back. "Sometimes I wish we'd stop running in circles."

"Me, too," I sighed.

"You know, after this, we're not going back to normal, right?" She asked with a hesitant voice.

"Not yet," I pleaded, hugging her tighter.

She pulled back and gave me a sad smile. "Daniel-"

"Stay with me," I pleaded, grabbing her hands as I placed my forehead against hers. "Just for tonight, please."

Acacia's smile widened before placing a kiss on the corner of my mouth. "Okay."

And that was what we did the whole time. We laughed, we kissed, we talked, we kissed, we danced, we kissed, we ate, we kissed, we drank, we kissed and we kissed. At some point, Lacy started to take pictures of us, the group, and everything we did— from dancing to kissing and eating. Adults looked at us in amusement, reminiscing when they were younger and did the same things we were doing.

It didn't even occur to us when we ended up at the beach, at midnight, skinny dipping.

Everyone immediately took off their heels, dresses, jewelry, shoes, tuxes, coats. Bentley even joined in the fun, even though he was hesitant at first, but after we told him the times we've been skinny dipping, he started to loosen up and took off his watch and clothes. We laughed as our hair became a mess, splashing each other while the cold air made our bodies shiver.

"Hey, I called out to Acacia, grabbing her hand to get her attention. She looked at me with a bright smile on her face, the moon making her eyes twinkle and I couldn't help but smile as well. "Let's get out of here," I jerked my head to the shore, wanting to spend some time with Acacia alone.

A shy smile appeared on her face before I led her to the shore. I kept my self control and turned my back on her as she put back her clothes. When she finished, I grabbed her hand and led her towards my car with her heels on her hand. No one noticed as we crept away from the group, the sounds of their laughter fading as we went away.

"Where are we going?" Acacia asked, keeping a tight grip on my hand, the other holding her dress to keep it from getting ruined.

"I don't know, where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Home," she said, before adding, "with you."

We both stopped in our tracks as I turned to face her. I was shocked by her response that I had to look at her if she was serious. Her eyes was down on the floor, not daring to look at mine. I lifted her chin using my fingers and gently pressed my lips on hers. I admit, I am slightly addicted to her lips. A hint of a smile was on my face. The confidence she radiated off from before was gone and now replaced with shy smiles and kisses. I don't think I can get enough of her.
