Chapter 2 - Married

Richard Damian and Nicomaine Elsa got married at the City Hall. The witnesses are Gabriel, Carmen and Martino. They have decided to live in the Monte deVilla's mansion.
The agreement is to stay married for 6 months, until the deGracia company gets back on their feet and regain the confidence of their lost investors. Divorce of the two will play out once the company made profits....easy said and done...

N: Ok ka lang ba sa set up natin?
R: Wala namang choice eh..thank you nga pala kasi pumayag ka. I mean, It's not easy, ito ng ginagawa natin. Doon na ako sa guest room matutulog. Good night.
N: Sige. Goodnight
Richard heading to the guest room, his phone rang and it was Gwen..
G: Hi Hon, how are you?
R: Gwen, hwag mo naman akong tawagin nyan, may asawa na ako...
G: Di naman real ang marriage nyo eh..ok, sorry na...hwag mong sabihin na tabi kayo matulog.
R: Sa guest room ako matutulog...
Richard did not notice that Nicomaine was listening to his conversation with his ex Fiancé, she was on her way to the garden when she saw him...
Yaya Pining: Alam mo Richard, may asawa ka na, dapat hindi ka na kumakausap ng kung sino sino...
Martino: Respeto naman ...
R: (glanced at Martino) Sige po..matutulog na ko....may trabaho pa ho ako bukas eh...
Martino: Oh Else, anong ginagawa mo dyan, bakit di ka pa matulog, yung fake husband mo matutulog na raw.
N: Hahaha, alam mo namang late ako matulog...ikaw bakit gising ka pa?
Martino: Di pa rin ako inaantok eh.
N: I miss Mama, ano kaya sasabihin nya sakin kung buhay pa sya?
Martino: Kukurutin ka nya sa singit..hahaha.
Richard was watching Nicomaine and Martino from the kitchen's window.
Yaya Pining: Close yang dalawang yan, para na silang magkapatid. Tinuring na ring parang tunay na anak ni Amanda si Martino, matutulog na ako.
R: Sige po Yaya Pining, matulog na kayo...

The next morning..

Richard was heading for work when he saw Nicomaine Elsa preparing his breakfast.
R: Bakit nag-abala ka pa, I don't normally eat breakfasts eh..
N: Well, breakfast s the most important meal of the day, kain ka muna, sabayan mo ako..

R: Sige.

De Gracia office.

Carmen: How's married life hijo?
R: Ma, anong klaseng tanong yan, we only live in one roof, not as husband and wife..
Carmen: I know, pero what if magka-inlaban kayo..
R: Ma, stop..I still love Gwen...ang hirap kaya ng sitwasyon namin ngayon.
Carmen: O sya, malaki ka na. Salamat anak ha...wala na akong maisip na paraan para maisalba ang kumpanya ...
R: Ma, I wanted it too so don't apologize. Let's all hope it will work out.

During lunch time.

Reception: Hi Ma'am, can I help you?
N: Yeah, is Mr. deGracia around?
Reception: He went out for lunch po, would you like to leave a message?

Richard and Gwen spotted on the lobby by Nicomaine. Richard kissed Gwen on the cheek.

Nicomaine looked away, Richard saw her and introduced her to Gwen.
R: Oh hi, Else (Nicomaine Elsa's nickname) this is Gwen, my fr...
Gwen: Ex girlfriend, hi Nicomaine, Else?
N: Hi, you went out for lunch with my husband?
R: Well, she's around the area so..
N: You're married now Richard Damian, paano kung may makakita sa inyong dalawa? Lalu pa't tauhan ng Yamato industry?
Nicomaine walked away, she was upset upon seeing them together. Richard was a bit confused. Gwen didn't say much...

Back at the Monte de Villa mansion..

Martino: Anong iniiyak mo dyan...sabi ko na nga ba eh..in love k dyan sa gunggong na yan eh.
N: Asawa ko naman sya eh, respeto naman sana.
Martino: Kausapin mo kasi, hindi yung ngangawa ka na lang dyan. Tandaan mo Else, sila ang may pabor sa inyo.

Gabriel's office.

Gabriel: Ano Anak, wala ba kayong balak mag- honeymoon ng Asawa mo (smiling).
N: Honeymoon, di nga kami nagtatabi matulog, honeymoon pa?
Gabriel: Eh di yayain mo sa favorite place mo, bakasyunan natin sa Batangas...get to know him, six months din kayo magkasama, might as well.
