Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers

Day 26

At breakfast, everyone ate in silence until Marowak burst through the door holding more papers and tablets.

"I did it! I finally deciphered them, and you won't believe what it says!" Marowak exclaimed happily.

"Well please, sit down and explain it to us," Lucario asked through a mouth full of food. 

He had a bad habit of that.

"At first, I thought I was interpreting it wrong, but then I realized that a portion of the ruin was saying the same thing the last one did. Then, as I continued on down the drawings, I realized that it purposefully did that,and that there was an added part to it!" Marowak sat down and began reading the papers more slowly this time, "In the event of the growing calamity, two humans would be called by a legendary Pokémon. Those humans would be given weapons, hidden by somewhat worthless items. Those weapons would protect the humans from the dangers of weakness, and the weakness of bad feelings."

"So, secret weapons, hidden as worthless items, given to the humans?" Wave repeated.

"Yes, exactly," Marowak answered.

Geek and Volt looked at each other, and then their scarves. Everyone slowly started to realize why they were looking at them. The scarves were the secret weapons formed as worthless items.

"I see," Lucario said as he nodded to something.

"Did it say anything else?" Wave asked.

"Yes. It talked about a tower, called the Tower of Legends, somewhere deep in the world that was the location of this legendary Pokémon that summoned Geek and Volt. Even more, it explained a bit more of how the orbs worked. But here's the kicker, it not only explained a bit more about the orbs, it actually gave a map to the factory where they're built!" Marowak exclaimed, bursting with excitement.

"Woah, really?" Greninja asked, now suddenly interested in this conversation.

"Yes! We can finally stop this calamity!" Marowak said.

"Well then I think everyone knows where they're going next," Lucario said as he stood up.

"Gallade, Greninja, Marowak, Geek, Volt, and Wave will all go to the factory and destroy it at all costs. Victini and I will stay behind and defend the city when needed. Everyone, begin packing your things. You'll set out tomorrow," Lucario planned.

Everyone did just as he said. Instead of going on an adventure, Geek and Volt prepared for the long journey ahead. It was a four day journey to the factory, and that meant they needed a lot of supplies for the trip. They spent every last bit of money they had to buy items and other supplies for their long trek. Later in the evening, everyone once again sat down and ate food, but again, Geek and Volt went to bed early. They needed all the strength they could get for tomorrow. This was it. They were finally going to stop this 'growing calamity' at the source. Hopefully they would be able to.
