Reagan's POV

I had been lying down next to Zayn for another hour and we had been talking about things that Liam and I have talked about. Things that only I had told Liam and things that Liam has only told me. Now they were being shared with Zayn. The last few minutes in our current conversation, we were finishing up admitting random facts about each other.

"I want to have one kid after I get married. Well just one boy for sure." Zayn said.

"Just uno?" I questioned and he nodded in response.

"Hmm.. Cool, aha. Um I want to grow two more inches."

"You mean in height, right?" He asked with a face mixed with utter confusion and disgust. I immediately crack up at his face.

"Haha yeah! Of course." I said. Zayn then makes a relieved face and wipes his forehead of imaginary sweat with his left hand. I smile but notice that his right hand is resting on top of mine.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat and smirked.

"Here. Haha." Zayn takes my hand in his hand and smiles, looking down at me. I return the gesture, looking up to his eyes, while we lay still on his bed.

"Are you okay with this?" I ask.

"If I wasn't okay with it, I wouldn't be doing it, babe." I nod at him, bring my eye attention down to plush comforter.

An index finger comes into view when the very tip of it touches my chin and guides it back so my eyes can focus on wherever Zayn is leading.

"Why don't you look at me?" He inquires from me.

"I don't know." I say, shrugging as best as I could, back to my mattress. It's his turn to smirk at me now. He leans down towards my face, hovering over my lips.

"Kiss me, Reagan." What I'm sure is a nice demand, comes off as almost a question.

"Why?"

"'Cause. I've missed you." He says and brings his lips to mine for a full peck. I close my eyes and open them when we pull away from each other.

"And I want you." He speaks and kisses me again, same routine.

"More than just that. More than a just a friend. Hell, more than how I wanted you when you stayed in Birmingham."

"But-"

"Uh uh," he says cutting me off and continuing, "I don't care what you want."

"Then what do you care about Zayn?"

"I care about you being comfortable and happy. You know  that you're both of those things when you're here."

"I am. But I'm also-"

"Scared." He finishes my sentence for me.

"Yeah, babe I know." We meet each other halfway slowly, as if we're about kiss. You're not together Reagan. Don't do it. Suddenly we hear Zayn's mom, Trisha, calling her son's name from the first floor. We pull away from each other.

"Ohhhh." He remarks in a goofy 'o'-shaped face, that causes me to laugh. We move to opposite ends of the bed and I hug my legs as we sit facing each other, preparing for his mother to walk in.

"Zaynie!"

"Yeah? I'm up here mama!" He answers her.

Mama. That was cute. I quickly change my mind thinking about what Mrs. Malik will think about me and her son, alone, in the same room. A bedroom. I wonder if Zayn has told her about Perrie. The door that was halfway open and halfway closed is pushed open and Zayn's mom comes in sight, smiling at her son.
