Best friends- they know how crazy you are and still choose to be seen in public with you - Anonymous

Roxie's POV

It is now Saturday once again but instead of staying home to read a book; my best friend barged into my house and basically dragged me out. She didn't give me a choice or time to struggle.

She was now looking for the most and I quote 'fabalicious' dresses for us to wear.

We have been here for about two hours and the sales clerk looked like like she was regretting her choosing this career.

To bring you up to speed, Isabella is also attending the banquet and on a totally unrelated note Sean, has a beautiful date to go with.

Come on! You can't tell me you didn't see that coming.Even the hobo down the street saw this coming but I don't think he saw the dog coming.

Wow! For somebody with a lot of clothes on the man can sure tear it.

Where were we? Oh yeah, the date.

Her name is Cherry. She had fiery red hair (shocker!), forest green eyes, a perfectly straight nose with perfectly white teeth and rosy red lips. Did I mention her beautiful tanned curvy body or her model height being 5"8"?

I am getting depress just to see the 'perfect' pair,as they were being called at the banquet.

Back to the present, Isabella is now annoying the hell out of us both. I mean come on how long does it take to find a stinkin' dress.

It does not matter what I wear or how I look it doesn't change the fact that I will be by myself and watch everyone else dance the night away.

Finally, I heard a squeal of excitement and knew that my faith had been sealed.

I looked over at her with the dress that she was going to wear but I think she forgot that it was a Christmas party.

In her hand, she had a midnight blue dress that would cling to her waist until it would poof out at her legs. I cannot even describe the amount of sparkles that covered the dress.

There was no way she was going to get me to wear that.

I voiced my opinion and she glared at me.

"Who said this was for you, it is mine of course, your dress will be more plain."

Wow I heard the love in that sentence but if your friend cannot be honest with you then who can.

I did not care, so I am not 'fashionable'. I am happy with who I am.

As Isabella looks around, I look at the other shoppers, who are actually glad to be here.

There were mostly females and the men who were looked like they would rather be anywhere but here.

I totally feel their pain.

I could never understand how someone could spend hours just looking at clothes.

It terrifies me especially seeing that a Bones marathon is on right now and I am missing Bones' 'witty' comments and Booths' gorgeousness.

Do not ask me if that is a word; I have a A- in English.

Anyway, what was I saying....

Oh yeah! I HATE shopping with a passion but I need a dress to look good for my non-existent date.

I don't need a guy to compliment me to make me feel good about myself, but a compliment once in a while would be nice.

It doesn't matter what happens; I will probably go wandering outside looking at the roses or the other beautiful flowers in the garden.

"Eep! This dress will definitely do for you Roxie!"

This can't be good.
