Here's my Oc Neptune discovering an egg of the beach

(The bottom half is supposed to be green, I just colored it too dark)

(And yes, his tail is super short. I know. That's part of his design)

Is low key proud of the palm tree

Alright so apparently I have to write a short story
Keep in mind is 10pm rn and I'm not in a very creative or awake state

Neptune skipped down the shoreline, occasionally tripped over small obstacles in the way such as clumps of seaweed or rocks peaking out of the golden glowing sand.  His small, undeveloped tail made it hard for him to stay on his feet for more than a couple minutes. Neptune preferred flying but his mother had told him he'll never get better at keeping his balance if he stays up in the air all the time. Neptune knew she was right, no matter how many times he denied it in front of her.
It was a beautiful day for once. It had been raining all week so most of the other Seawings stayed underwater. Neptune, however didn't mind the rain. It was gentle and calming to listen to and felt comforting on his scales. But today the sun was shining bright. A little today bright if you asked Neptune. The light reflected down onto the sand and the water, making in almost glow in a way. The was a slight salty breeze blowing in from the sea, welcoming Neptune. It was all so beautiful. He closed his eyes to take it all in and continue walking blind. Neptune wasn't worried about the rocks or the seaweeds or anything other than the soft breeze brushing his face and the distant calls of seagulls.
CRASH
Neptune tripped over something. No surprise there. But it wasn't those rocks that peaked out of the sand or the clumps of seaweed collected on shore from the sea. Neptune, face buried in the sand, regained his footing and turned to investigate the cause of his fall.
Right in front of him lay a small nest made quickly out of straw and palm tree leaves.  The egg itself was green and purple with a line down the middle diagonal slipping the two colors apart.
Anxiety flooded Neptune's mind.  Who's egg is that?  What tribe was it from? Was it abandoned here? Is someone looking for it? Should it be left here or should he take it back to the palace to investigate?
The egg looked as if it was about to hatch maybe in the next couple days or so.   "Will the mom come back for her egg?" Neptune's thoughts raced like schools of fish. "Should I get help? No, the egg might disappear if I leave.  Ok, I guess there's only one way out of this without me feeling extremely guilty."
With a sudden bolt of courage, Neptune swept up the strange egg in his talons and flew off to the Summer Palace.  As he soared through the clear blue sky, the egg began to rattle.
"Don't worry little guy. You'll be safe soon."

Well there we have it!
I did not read over that story and I had absolutely no plot line for it. I just kept writing until I got somewhere.

Hope you enjoy?

Also let me know if you want to see more written stories by me! I do enjoy writing them and I'd love to make more!
