Will smiled. "First I want to show you my favorite park."
"Okay." I shrugged.
We walked into the parking lot and got into Will's car. Within a few minutes we were outside Central Park.

He turned off the ignition and I stared at him incredulously.
"Your favorite park is Central Park? I mean I know I just moved to New York and all but even I've seen it before."
He just smiled triumphantly.
"Well Central Park is a big place and I want to show you my favorite part."

We walked around for a bit and eventually arrived at a huge oak tree.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
Will didn't answer. He just started climbing.
"What are you doing?"
"Come on!" He called down.
I thought about walking away, but that wouldn't do me any good since I'd get lost before I even found my way back to the car, which I wouldn't be able to open without the keys anyways.
I quickly looked around to make sure nobody was watching and stared to climb the tree.
I stopped after about fifteen feet and sat next to Will on a thick branch.
"Do you like it?"
"The tree?"
"No. The view, dummy."
"chiudi il becco." I huffed as i turned around.
I was greeted with a view of a pond with clear, sparkling water and green grass surrounding it. There were two white swans in the pond too. Beyond that was the city skyline, perfectly lit up by the setting sun. The pink and orange clouds made the background.

"It's prettiest this time of day." Will said in a voice barely over a whisper.
I just nodded my head. Then I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture.
"Can you send me that?" Will asked, leaning over my shoulder to look at the picture.
"But that would require me giving you my phone number. What if you're a stalker? Or worse, what if you text me constantly?"

Will just laughed. He had a nice laugh. It was the kind of laugh that makes everyone else want to laugh too.
"Maybe I will."
"Will what? Stalk me? Or text me?"
"I don't know..."
I punched him lightly on the arm.
"Okay. okay. I'll just text you sometimes."
"Fine."
I handed him my phone and he entered information into a new contact. I rolled my eyes when I saw the sun emoji next to his name.
(Will☀️)
Then I texted him the picture and I told him my phone number.
Next to my name he put a skull emoji.
(Neeks💀)
Is this right, Neeks?"
"Don't call me that."
"But it suits you."
"In what way?"
"It sounds adorable."
"Are you calling me adorable? I'm not adorable. I'm scary and intimidating."
"Sure you are, Neeks."
