It been 4 years since the day her father died and her mother started drinking and beating her everyday. She is now 10 years old and her once bright blue eyes now have a pink ring around them and her sanity is slowly slipping away. Now she talks to someone by the name of Rosabell or Roe. The girl claims that Roe is her best friend and is a part of her. Her mother shouts from down stairs.
"Hey, little bitch! Get your sorry little ass down here and get me a beer! And make me lunch!" The ten year old rushes down the stairs, tripping on the last stair, falling and cutting her hands. She quickly got up before rushing to the kitchen, making her mother lunch and grabbing her a beer. She sat the food and drink in front of her mother. Her mother glares at the young girl, taking a bite from her sandwich before spitting it out with a disgusted face.
"You know I hate ham sandwiches, you ignorant little bitch!" she throws the sandwich at the girl before grabbing the beer bottle and slamming it over the little girls head, spilling the beer over her and getting shards of glass embedded in her skin. Her mother continues to beat her while she curls up in a ball, trying to defend herself from the kicks and trying to keep ro from getting out. Soon her mother leaves, going up to her own room and the little girl pushes herself up crying. She whispers softly
"Daddy, why did you have to leave me alone with mommy? She doesn't care about me. Didn't you care about me?" She walked up the stairs and cleaned herself up, patching the cuts and removing the glass. she went into her own room afterword, laying down. Her world slowly turning black as she lets herself drift into sleep.
