Fire Hazard🔥🔥

Chapter 17

    As I walk down to the hall I think of what I could have done to get in trouble. I don't think I've done anything. I think to myself. As I walk into the office they all look at me like I'm broken. Like they did the first time after the fire. I walk up to the secretary and I hear her sweet voice.

    "Hello, Why are you in the office today dear?"

    "Oh um. . . I was just called over the loudspeaker."

   "Oh yes, go on back I wish you luck."

  Not knowing what she meant by that I start to walk to the office. I breathe in and out slowly. As I get closer I see Natalie sitting in the office and she's crying. I walk in and he tells me to take a seat. I follow what he say's and I sit down two seats from Natalie.

    "Do you know why you are here?"

    "Umm to get an education?"

    " I meant in my office."

    " Oh, then I don't know."

    "The fire."

  As soon as he said this I should have known. I froze I felt sick to my stomach. I already didn't like talking to people that were I guess the authorities and now it's about the fire which makes it ten times worse.

    "W-what about it?" I stutter.

   "Well, Natalie here came in and told us everything."

    "She did?" I question him

   "I did?" She also questions.

    "Yes, you did."

   "What was said?" I ask

   "She explained that you poured the gas and that the fight today was your fault and it's my understanding that you have a video to show me."

   He knew about the video. I was puzzled. How, I didn't tell anyone.

    "N-no I don't." I stumbled through

    "Are you sure Ms. Colyer?"

   "Yes, I'm sure."

   "You are dismissed Natalie but you Alexis are to stay here."

    She lied to him and worse she framed me. He kept me in his office almost all day trying to get me to confess to something I didn't do. He finally let me out of his office around three and by that time I didn't want to go back to class. I went up to where Liv's locker was and headed to the bathroom. I unlocked my phone and I had over 30 notifications from people that I didn't even know, well some I didn't. I looked at what they were sending me. They were messages. A few said "go kill yourself" the other said "you should have died in the fire" another said, "it was all my fault." I was confused until I seen Natalie's recent status update.

Did you guys here @Alexis Colyer started the fire.

   I couldn't believe she would do something like that and at the same time, I could see it.  I wait until the bell rings and I go out into the hall where people just kept staring and whispering as they pass me. Once I get over to Liv's locker someone comes up to me. I knew her she was the sister to an old friend of mine that died in the fire.

  "YOU," she shouted walking towards me as everyone stopped and watched.

   "What?"I say harshly

   " How could you do something like that?"

    "Something like what?"

    "You know what."
