"Okay uncle we'll stay, after two days I EXPECT to hear from the alpha." I say using an alpha command I didn't even know I had. We walked out together leaving my uncle by himself. How the hell did I use alpha command? I'm not the next alpha in line, I'm not even a male.
'Your the red wolf.' My wolf told me.
'I knew that I just didn't know I had alpha command.'
'We overpower our mate. He's a beta's son, we're an alpha's first born daughter. First born always is next in line.'
'But I'm--we are female.'
'Its just a perk to being so rare.' She smiled
"So are we staying?" Jake asked me grabbing my hand going down the stairs.
"Yes, but you said you'd speak with your father. Can he really convince the alpha?"
"I bet he can, after all he is his best friend."
"When do you plan to call?"
"I could call now.."
"Do it." Once we got down the stairs he grabbed his cracked phone out of his pocket.
"Damn. Phone broke." I said. I pulled out my phone and checked if it worked. It had a huge crack in the screen but it worked. I handed him my phone.
"Use mine, it still works." He grabbed the phone and dialed the number. We heard a few rings then he walked away to talk. I could still hear his conversation.
"Hey Trey, its Jacob. I need to speak with my dad." There was a pause. "Dad. Me and my mate need your help. You need to convince the Alpha to help Lighting Mist, my mates family his been kidnapped." Another pause, "Some bastard who's trying to steal my mate from me." He growled. "You will? Thank you so much dad." His did said something. "What? We do? Why?"
"What's wrong Jake?" I ask
"Okay, we'll be there." He hung up the phone and handed it back to me. "My dad wants to talk to us."
"About?"
"You. I guess. He wouldn't tell me much."
"So right now?"
" As soon as possible."
"Well that's now, let's go." He began taking off his shirt. Then looked at me.
"What?"
"I shouldn't shift, I don't want anymore attention drawn to me than I already have."
"Oh. Okay." He put his shirt back on and grabbed my hand. "Let's go then."
*****Copper Star Pack House*****
We arrived at Jakes pack house after our walk. It took like an hour to get there on foot. I fought the urge to run to the house, I didn't want anyone else knowing who I was.
"Jacob, who the pretty lady?" A blonde boy asked checking me out, It made me uncomfortable, I grabbed Jake's hand tighter.
"Back off Trey, this is my mate." He growled protectively
"Sorry man, didn't know."
"Where's my dad?"
"Speaking with my parents."
"Good." He pulled me in the house, I now know how he felt as I dragged him through my uncles house.
"Dad?" Jake and I entered a room with three other wolves in it. A brown haired dark blue eyed wolf, I assumed was Jakes dad. Two blonde haired wolves, male and female. The male had green eyes and the female had purple eyes. I guess this was Trey's parents.
"Jacob. And I assume this is your mate?" The brown haired one asked.
"Yes this is Lightning Mist's former Alpha's daughter Scarlett. Scarlett this is my dad Beta Jack, our Alpha Andrew, and our Luna Hailey." He greeted pointing at everyone as he introduced them.
"Scarlett. In other words, the red wolf." Hailey said.
"How-how did you--?"
"My wife has visions.. she seen that the red wolf needs the help of our pack" Andrew said.
"I've also seen that you'll stop at nothing to get your family back."
"Its true. I'm not gonna give up. Will you help us?" I ask
"We will do anything to help the red wolf my dear."
"Do you see where my family is?" I asked Hailey as I walked over to her.
"I'm afraid I don't...however all I know is its very cold there."
"Alaska?" I whisper to Jake in question
"Maybe.." He whispered back to me.
"We will put out a search party in the northern region. Tell your pack Scarlett, tell them we will help you." Andrew said. "Jack. Tell the pack to form groups to search in."
"Yes Alpha." Jakes dad walked out. I just hope asking for help didn't put Copper Star in danger. I couldn't bear to see more lives at risk.
