Karunga mai aakhir tu aaghaz ban ja,
Nayaab Har shaye chupi hogi isme,
Qalam hogi meri tu alfaaz ban ja,
Parhey Jisko duniya lage gungunane,
Wo laye hogi meri tu aawaaz ban ja,
Ajib hogi dhun aur ghazab taal hogi,
Mai sur usko dunga tu bas saaz ban ja,
Kalam-e-ghazal ka hai unwaan Baaqi,
Shakal dunga mai tu saraghaaz ban ja,
Ghazal hogi teri takhallus bhi tera,
Ye ek raaz hoga tu hamraaz ban ja...
