You should know that I was editing and decided on a whole new ending. It's posted as a whole new chapter after this. I'd advise you to read that one instead of this one XD but if you're greedy you can read both ;)

(The big differences are only really after the time skip to then at school)

"Mom, Dad!"

I ran to greet my parents as we entered the airport back in the USA.

"Tori, we can explain everything!"

I looked up at Mom and laughed, "Don't worry about it - I don't care anymore and plus I probably already know everything."

She gave me a motherly glare but then laughed and pulled me back in tight to the hug. I looked across the airport as the others greeted their own parents. I could see Liam already heading over to get his luggage and then to the exit of the airport with his parents. He turned back and saw me. He gave a small wave before he was first to leave, pretty much unnoticed. It will be interesting to see what he's like at school next Monday. Likely nothing will have changed and I guess I don't mind that.

"Hey," Mom noticed the necklace, "how come there's only four?"

Dad cut in with a grin, "Oh who cares? I don't want anything to do with it anymore because you're our daughter and she made you feel out of place with that. That's not right. We love you and as exciting as having a plastic come-alive magic baby on our hands when we were barely adults was, this is so much better."

I smiled and Mom grinned, "Nice speech Leon."

And that's when I felt it. The fifth star. It never had anything to do with those stupid boys. Just me and my loving parents. So wait, what happens to her now? I glanced around the airport and suddenly something caught my eye. It wasn't her, it was the necklace around her neck that I saw.

"Huh," I murmured. I reached up and only felt my skin under my fingertips. How did she do that?

I turned my attention back to her. She waved and smiled at me then, as she turned and stepped out of the building, she disappeared. She literally just disappeared.

"Did- did you see that?"

I turned to Livi who had suddenly appeared on my left side, "Yup." I glanced up to check that my parents hadn't - yeah, they were occupied. I know she is supposed to be an Evans but I feel like she won't be a problem anymore. I don't have to have her mixed up in my life, no matter if Griffin is or not, but I think she would always be there if I need her. Ha, like that'll be happening anytime soon.

"You should probably say goodbye to your future husband," Livi grinned at me.

Frankie appeared on my other side, "Yeah, I was just talking to Griffin and he said he's about to leave so," Frankie nodded back in the direction of Griffin and his parents, suggesting I go over.

Livi glared at him. "I was talking about Alex. They kissed y'know," she said smugly.

This looks like it could be interesting. Frankie stared her down.

"No, she kissed Griffin."

I smirked to myself and subtly took a step back to watch the couple argument about a different couple take place.

"Okay, Frankie, she is my best friend I think I know her well enough-"

"Uh, she's my best friend too. I kn-"

"I'm a girl!"

I laughed to myself. My two best friends; my two ridiculous best friends. Frankie sarcastically clapped at Livi's comment.

"Well done, I hadn't noticed."

She scrunched up her nose and glared at him maliciously. He stood with his arms folded across his chests, smirking, and before I knew what was going on they were making out right in front of me.

Hm, everything's turning out just how it's supposed to. Maybe not how I expected, but definitely how it's supposed to. I slowly and discreetly backed away from the two happy couples in front of me. I wandered over to Griffin.

"Hey," he said, "Um, I'll see you on Monday."

"Yeah," my forehead creased and I nodded, "yeah, bye."

He shook his head at me, grinning, like I'm some silly little child and I stared back ignorantly.

"Bye, Tori," he said more softly. And so I hugged my arms around his neck and said goodbye. I pulled away and watched him walk out of the airport and to his parents' car.

"Where's my goodbye hug?"

I turned around and raised my eyebrows, "I believe I just gave it to Griffin?"

"Nope. No you didn't."

Alex pulled me into a hug and I sighed, giving in and hugging him back.

"You're still a dick. I'll see you Monday."

"Bye Tori," he winked at me and I scoffed, returning to my parents and my best friends.

"You done?"

"No."

"Um, yes," Livi put her hand on Frankie's chest and pushed his waiting lips away. I laughed.

"This is still... weird."

"Believe me, I know," Livi confided in me, "So. I just saw you hugging Alex."

"I saw you hugging Griffin," Frankie rolled his eyes at Livi.

"Really? You guys saw that?" I waved my finger between the two of them, "because when I left you seemed pretty preoccupied."

"Shut up."

Livi shook her head and then noticed her parents coming towards us. She sighed.

"Bye," she rose up on tiptoe and gave Frankie a quick peck on the cheek.

"Bye," she squeezed me into a tight hug and smiled when she looked back at me. Her look said a lot but I was mostly reflecting on the small part of it that was about the relationship between her and Frankie. I guess she's still asking for my opinion, my... permission?

I nodded vigorously, "Bye!"

I saw my parents pulling my stuff together and eyeing me suspiciously. I rolled my eyes - overprotective much?

"Bye Frankie."

I hugged him and he whispered in my ear, "Who did you kiss?"

"Does it matter?"

"Y-"

"Bye Frankie," I waved and exited the airport with my family. We got into the car and I thought as we set off. Europe was fun and I know I want to go back like my parents, but not why they did. I need to go back and enjoy myself more, I need to learn how to do that. My parents chattered on the way home, asking how it was and avoiding those questions. But eventually, inevitably, we got onto them.
