"I knew she was a barbarian!" The blonde yelled.
The 'Captain' just pushed up his glasses and chuckled.
"Now, now Lieutenant Awashima," He said. "The absence of evidence is the evidence of absence."
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked, curiously.
"What I'm saying," The man started. "Is that we have no evidence to link you to Homra. We can't do anything to you."
"But-" The Lieutenant tried.
"No evidence, Lieutenant. Now, go search this girl up in the Sceptor 4 database."
The woman backed down.
"Yessir." She saluted before going off to complete her task.
"Sceptor 4?" I echoed.
"Yes," the man confirmed. "I am Munakata Reisi, Captain of Sceptor 4 as well as the Blue King."
"W-what would Sceptor4 want with me?" I asked, still not looking the man in the eyes, but he leaned in close to me.
Munakata forcefully grabbed me by my chin and made me look him dead in the eye. It was a bad idea on my part.
"I heard from a little birdie that you have a past with Homra." He informed. "I'm using you to put them down. How does that sound?"
I struggled in his grip.
"N-no!" I exclaimed. "I'm just a normal girl. I don't want to be involved with whatever you're plotting."
"Do as I say or you could spend the rest of your life in prison."
"You're terrible." I yelled. "Corrupt!"
"I do what I can to protect the people." Munakata corrected. "I don't care what ways I have to use. Now, tell me. Are you useful or are you not?"
I nodded.
"Use your words!"
"I'm useful!" I cried.
Munakata let me go and I dropped to the ground, holding my aching jaw. He looked down at me with a frightening grin.
"Fushimi." He said.
The other man stood speechless, but came to attention at the call of his name.
"Get her a uniform and teach her the ways of Sceptor 4." He commanded. "I think I'm going to like this girl."
. . . . ."He's scary..." I said, slipping into the blue uniform.
I was behind a curtain changing with Fushimi on the other side.
"He's not scary." Fushimi said. "He's desperate."
"Desperate?"
"Lately, many strains have been, what we think might be, kidnapped. That's not the only thing, but the people around the areas of the kidnappings get seriously hurt. Burned."
"And you think it's Homra." I finished.
"But we don't have solid evidence. We're worried because the amount of people getting hurt is rising along with the amount of people going missing. Before we know it, someone might end up dead."
"And we don't want that." I sighed. "I haven't seen this anywhere in the news."
I finished dressing, keeping my stockings on. My uniform was the same as the Lieutenants with the short shorts and all, except for I wore my sneakers and stockings to cover my legs.
Fushimi looked me up and down before going off, so I followed.
"The reason it wasn't in the news" He explained. "Is because it wasn't supposed to be. It would start a riot and then, whoever is behind the kidnappings would have a better chance at doing their job when everyone is in a panic."
I nodded.
"Good point."
